Kids POV
When they saw this masked person kill teacher Raven they were devastated, they thought they have lost one of the few people that have cared for them in so long, and for some cared for them for the first time in their life. They were almost broken, they couldn't even seem to move to be able to take revenge. All they did was stand there.
Then the masked assassin removed the blankets and showed that no one really was there. And then remove their own mask. It was lady Kaia, none of the kids understood what was happening any more, then lady Kaia spoke:"Remember what you felt just now. You need to be stronger than anyone else, you could have just lost someone who I believe is very dear to you. Remember while you make be stronger than other kids you do not compare to adults. If someone really wanted to kill raven they could have done it so easily. And next time it may not be me, but someone else sent here to kill any of us."
They understood in a second that this was a test to let them know they still have a long way to go. They need to be stronger, they all thought along the line of 'we never want to lose the people that we care about.'
"From tomorrow you will be fighting me. Decide how you wanna fight in pairs or individuals. I will thoroughly make you understand how far you have to go. Now go back to your rooms" Kaia continued and then left as swiftly as she came.
The kids just stood there for a while before they started making their way to their rooms.
"I will become stronger. We are so weak... Wh-what if something really did happen." Yevette said with tears in her eyes that are almost ready to leave.
"We want to stronger too." The twins. Iris and Emily said. They were also crying a bit.
The only one that wasn't crying was Azai. He didn't say anything and just stood there in the middle of the corridor on their way back and waited for them to calm down. While he may have seemed calm, Azai was also upset all he could think was 'I will be stronger. I will not lose people close to me. They are the only ones that have ever accepted me'
They all have come to accept each other as family, while this family may seem odd and the concept may seem unfamiliar to some of them. They knew deep down that they wanted to care for each other and the ones that gave this new life and family to them, Kaia and Raven.The thought that they may lose any one of them is what kept them up all night.
