I took a deep breath and pushed it back out. "Relax, you're doing great."

I shook my head with a chuckle. "That's why I nearly ran into the wall, right?"

Harry leaned over since the car was parked and kissed me. "But you didn't, that's the important thing." Harry kissed me again before pulling away. "Now, young Padawan-"

"Star Wars?" I questioned. Harry grinned even more, making me smile. "Finally. I almost said Star Trek, too."

"Anyway, mall time." Harry just had me park in a less busy parking lot since I was still very new to driving.

We got out of the car and Harry came around to grab my hand. "Feeling okay?" He asked as we got closer.

I nodded. My stomach was turning a little, but in all honesty, I was excited. Everyone but Harry babies me. For example, my aunt thinks I'm at his house right now, not driving or going out. She would probably flip out, so I'm gonna pretend Harry surprised me instead with it all. "Yeah, you know I'll tell you if I want to go back." Harry smiled and gave my hand a squeeze before letting go and wrapping his arms around my waist.

Our mall was huge. Three stories, hundreds of stores and thousands of people. And it wasn't making me want to run away.

I started to remember small bits and pieces of what happened. It was horrible, and usually those were bad days. Harry's been there for most of them, but the few he hasn't went even worse and I felt like I was drowning.

There were a ton of people outside as we walked up, but inside there were a lot more. My first instinct was to look for Ken, but instead I leaned into Harry. I tried to keep myself distracted, so I started looking at some of the many shops.

"Whatever you want to do," Harry reminded softly. "Or I have an idea."

"What's your idea?" I asked. Harry just smiled and lead me to an escalator. On the second story we weaved through people, Harry holding my hand again. "You never tell me anything," I pouted playfully.

"Well then it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?" Harry questioned, spinning me and pulling me closer to him. I smiled as he kissed me and then motioned for me to follow.

I looked up at a sign and saw Build-A-Bear. When I looked at Harry, he just smiled and continued to lead me into it. "No way."

"Yes way," Harry said, looking over at me. "I remember things."

After I had my bear, Harry took me to a shoe store, one called Hot Topic, and a lot of other ones before I complained about being hungry. I still didn't understand why everyone got so happy whenever I said that. It probably had something to do with Ken, so I didn't want to think about it.

"What do-"

"Pizza," I answered with a smile, batting my eyes at him. He just chuckled and pulled me to the pizza place in the food court. "Thank you for today."

"Of course, love." Harry kissed the side of my head and I closed my eyes. "Want to sit down and I'll be right back?"

"Sounds good." Harry set the bags he was carrying down and kissed me before disappearing into the crowd. I sat at the table and pulled out my phone, seeing a text from Lottie.

Lot:
You're not at Harry's house... I like it

Louis:
Yes I am

Lot:
Just drove past there, buddy

I sighed and chewed on my lip, trying to think of something to say. If she told Mary, I was screwed, more than likely.

Lot:
Your secrets safe with me. I actually like the fact you're going out and doing stuff

I smiled and looked up in time to see Harry coming back with the pizza. Harry smiled as sat the tray down. "I got you cheese."

"Perfect."

"Who texted?" He asked.

"Lottie. She knows I'm with you and she approves." Harry nodded. "What?" I asked. "You're smirking and trying to hide it."

"She knew the whole time. I run everything by her first to make sure she thinks it's not gonna be too much for you," Harry admitted. "She's good at secrets, by the way."

"I forget you know them." I took a bite of pizza and Harry watched me for a second before doing the same. When I was done chewing I said " it's not bad. I just forget."

My memory hasn't been good ever since we got back, but it's most likely due to stress and stuff. It'll get better over time, especially if I keep trying to work on it, at least that's what I hope.

Harry nodded. "Anyway, you look tired. Wanna go back to my house?"

"After we eat." Harry nodded again and we both dug into our slices. Harry grabbed most of the bags from me after throwing away our plates.

He seemed tense for the car ride, which I didn't understand. I wanted to ask about it, but I could tell he'd just brush it off. "What's wrong, Hazza?" I tried anyway.

"It's okay, baby. I'm just getting too far into my head. Worried about things that aren't even there." He glanced at me and smiled, then looked at the road again.

"I'm okay, Haz. I'm perfectly fine, actually." Harry nodded his head and pulled into the driveway of his house. I grabbed his arm before he could get out. "Harry-"

"Not now, Louis." He pulled away and slammed his door shut before going straight inside and shutting his front door behind him.

I chewed on my lip and looked at my hands. I pulled out my phone and took a deep breath, calling Luke.

I met Luke at a therapy session one day, and we haven't talked much since, but he vented to me sometimes.

"Hey, Louis. What's up?" Luke asked. He seemed like he was in a good mood, I didn't want to mess it up.

"I just wanted to check on you, it feels like it's been a really long time since we've talked."

"Okay, so what's really wrong, Lou?" Luke pushed. "Talk to me."

"Remember Harry?" I asked. After Luke agreed, I took a deep breath. "We're hanging out and I'm supposed to sleep over, but he got all closed off and distant right before we got back to his house, so I'm just sitting in his car."

"What the fuck? That's not cool," Luke told me.

"I know, I just... He's never done this before and I don't know what to do."

"Want me to come take you home?" Luke offered. "I wouldn't mind."

I chewed on my lip and my eyes landed on a napkin and a pen. He couldn't get mad if I left a note.

I closed my eyes and shook my head. "No, he would loose his mind if I wasn't here. I appreciate it a lot, though, Luke."

"Yeah, no problem. Just go inside and watch TV in the living room or something. You'll be fine, he's just working through something." We hung up and I got out of the car and slowly walked inside, closing the door.  Anne and Harry were no where in sight, so I sat on the couch.

I had a feeling this would be a long night
