Y/N's POV

The bright flashes of the cameras blind me as I step out of the long black limousine. Shawn takes my hand as we are ushered over to a certain place to be photographed by the paps.

So many celebrities lined the red carpet for the long awaited movie premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

All of the main cast were here, and also lots of big names in Hollywood as well as the music industry.

Shawn fixes his crisp black suit, and then places a hand on my waist while we pose for photos. As always, our practiced smiles are plastered on our faces.

"Over here Shawn!"

"Shawn look over here!"

"Shawn! Y/N!"

We move down the line as more celebs arrive. When we finally reach the end, Shawn turns to me.

"You okay babe? That was a lot to handle."

I laugh a little. "Yeah I'm good."

The first time Shawn brought me to a red carpet event like this, it was really overwhelming. Photographers, celebrities, and fans everywhere.

I wish I could say I was used to it now but there's no way anyone could get used to something like this. I don't think Shawn even is, and he's been to so many of these. At least now we knew what we were doing.

A few people come and introduce themselves to Shawn, some of which I recognized. He spoke to them, and then one of the two would be called elsewhere, ending the conversation.

He still had his picture-perfect smile on, but I knew the 'potterhead' in him was anxious and excited to get to watching the movie.

Niall Horan came to say hey, who I had actually met before since he and Shawn are quite good friends.

Another familiar blonde man, who I had seen a fair amount of times on screen, comes over to introduce himself.

"Hey I'm Tom," he says in a very British accent. No introductions were needed, Shawn definitely knew who Tom Felton was.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Shawn." He extends his arm and they shake hands.

"Oh yeah I've heard of you. Mendes right? I've listened to some of your music, really great stuff man. Especially your new song, I loved it."

Shawn's grip on me tightens slightly, and I could tell he was trying real hard to keep his cool. His calm, collected, public facade had disappeared, and the 'fanboy' in him shows. A wide, genuine grin had spread across his face.

"Thanks man, I'm glad you liked it. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter so it's really cool meeting you."

"Haha thank you, great meeting you too."

Someone comes to whisk him away for pictures, so he bids us goodbye and then leaves.

Once we're out of earshot, Shawn smiles at me giddily. "Oh. my. god. DRACO MALFOY knows who I am!" I shake my head, smiling. My boyfriend can be such a dork sometimes.

A/N: Hahaha where are my fellow potterheads at? This one's short and pretty bad (sorry) but I just had to make one about Shawn's love for Harry Potter <3

I'm writing this note on October 2nd, a few hours after Wonder was released, and omg it's absolutely incredible! ❤️
