Rhi, Kassidy, and Jace all followed Dr. Klaus into the darkness, soon figuring out that they were descending down a long and windy staircase. they stuck close to the witch doctor, making sure that they didn't lose sight of his candelabra.

"i seriously can't believe we're actually going to put a stop to Malice's reign of terror. Rhi, you are an absolute genius," Kassidy murmured excitedly. Rhi grinned proudly, although she had the strange feeling that they all shouldn't get their hopes up too much. what if the spell they made wouldn't be able to take down Malice? what if it only made him angrier and would send him to hunt down the three teen wolves?

she decided not to let her mind wander into that dark area, and instead followed her friends and Dr. Klaus deeper into the dark stairway.

after about 5 more minutes of walking, they came across a tall wooden door that looked like something from the medieval days, but what was beyond that door looked even more medieval; like 500 years ago medieval.

"welcome to my spell-room. this is where i make all my potions, and where i keep all my sorcery secret from the human society. no one else has seen this room except for me, and you three are the first werewolves to do so, so congratulations." Dr. Klaus moved further into the dungeon-like space; which was at least 2 times bigger than the facade space above and was designed to look like some crypt-keeper's mini library.

"so how do we start? what do we do?" Kassidy asked, but Dr. Klaus didn't answer right away. he was searching through a few drawers filled with vials upon vials, all empty of course, and he pulled out two that were the size of an index finger. "grab as many of these small vials as you can, then come find me when you three are done." he walked further into the spell-room and then vanished around a corner, leaving Rhi, Jace, and Kassidy to search for as many small vials as they could.

"ok, i think we're done here. this is all i can find, at least," Kassidy announced, while Rhi and Jace also managed to find all the glass vials they could.

"let's go find Klaus, then. i think he went around that corner in the far back," Jace said, nodding over to the far wall where Klaus had entered.

the three teen wolves grabbed their fair share of of vials, all managing to gently put them in three separate wooden crates to safely haul them, then made their way over to the other side of the wall and found a door at the very end of the hallway. it was cracked open a little, and they stepped inside to see Dr. Klaus mixing in some weird ingredients. it almost reminded Rhi of how a green-skinned witch would prepare things.

"alright, we've got your supplies," Jace murmured, setting down his crate on the ground nearby. Rhi and Kassidy followed suit, then they all stepped back to watch Klaus prepare the ingredients. it looked like he was using some weirdly scented herbs and a strange bluish-purple liquid. yup, definitely seemed like a traditional witch's way of preparing things.

Klaus looked up from his work and nodded. "good, good. now that we have all of these vials..."

"oh yeah, why do we need so many?" Rhi blurted out. it seemed to be the question on everyone else's minds too, so she was thankful she asked.

Klaus continued to work without looking at her. "because, my dear wolf child, this spell is going to be so powerful that the liquid may break some of these vials. so we need as many as possible so it can hold the liquid without shattering. and after that, we need to concoct a plan to lure Malice to us so we can give him the potion."

well, i'm sure that can wait for now, Rhi thought to herself. it was already going to take up a whole bunch of time to work on this potion; figuring out a plan to even find Malice and lure him to them would probably take even more brainpower and energy.

a while later, Klaus had managed to get some more ingredients together, and Rhi couldn't figure it out even her life depended on it. well, it kinda did, but still.

"how long is this going to take again?" Kassidy asked, leaning against the counter.

"approximately 3 hours, if we're lucky," Klaus said right away. "deaths spells usually take up most of the day, but hopefully this one will only be for a couple hours. and i'm going to need all hands on deck for this spell to be correct." he stepped aside behind the counter, motioning to the strange liquid and also to the crates of vials on the ground. "go ahead and follow my directions, and try to make as many as possible. if the glass breaks, then grab a new one and start over. do this until one of you finally finds a vial that one break."

so the kids got to work, even though they didn't have the faintest clue on how to make the potion, but they followed Dr. Klaus's instructions and officially began to work.

Malice was totally going down.
