**29 – Cyathea**

            It wasn’t a dream after all, neither a plain hallucination nor paranoia. It was true. All true. The black circle of nerves in my right chest creeping up to my shoulder stays visible as I brush my blouse off to see.

                  “Xanara.” And the door creaked open.

He can make me feel safe, he can make me feel light, he can make me feel like everything is just alright.

            And before I know it, I’ve fallen asleep.
