Today Leuca finally was taking me out, finally, I could have some fresh air. Granted, we were purchasing necessities that I didn't really need like a damn collar but at the same time, I was forced to wear one anyway.
The one I currently have to wear was made of thick leather, it was heavy around my neck and itchy. If I must wear one then I'd rather wear one that's at least slightly comfortable.
I had fallen asleep on Leuca's bed last night after he had bitten me as a punishment. I touched the spot and it was still very sensitive and slightly painful. An aching sensation was throbbing annoyingly at my neck.
Though I had fallen asleep on his bed I woke up on the couch, my couch now. It wasn't really comfortable, it was quite sturdy and hard and the lack of pillows and blankets didn't help either. I used to sleep with two and sometimes three pillows back at home, I missed that.
The couch beats the cage I was in at Caleb's business and it beats the floor I was lying on the first days after arriving here.
I woke up and Leuca was nowhere in sight so I decided to slowly make my way to the bathroom and take a bath. I wasn't in haste so I took my time bathing myself and washing my hair, God that lavender smelled heavenly.
I used the hair dry thingy and it didn't burn my face of this time so improvement. This time I was prepared and had taken clean underwear with me beforehand.
I had taken a freshly washed black hoodie with me as well. Leuca never wore slack clothes so I didn't even know why he owned them. He always wore certain black dress shirts or other formal attire, even suits. He looked like an adequate wealthy man all the time.
Though sometimes he did put on sweatpants but only late at night when he didn't have to leave his room anymore. Most of the time he dared not to even wear a shirt, that wasn't fair to me but alas. Sorry, but the man was a walking wet dream.
After I was dressed and looked decent I made my way out of the bathroom and glanced at the time, it was a bit past twelve. So lunch it is then? Before leaving the room I looked at the collar I had left on a stand beside the couch and shrugged, fuck that thing.
I left the room and made my way towards the dining room. I didn't know if there were even people there right now, it was way past breakfast. I opened the door and indeed, there was no one here.
So where was Leuca?
He couldn't be...
I shook my head, he can do whatever he likes and if that means banging human whores then so be it. "Riley?" A familiar voice made me turn around and smile, it was Beth.
I walked up to her and indulged her into a hug. "What are you doing here?" She asked me as she hugged me back.
"I slept in so I missed breakfast, maybe I took a long bath as well..." I replied after I pulled back from our hug.
She giggled and glanced towards a door at the back of the dining hall, "any wishes as to what you'd like for breakfast?" She asked me. "I'm sure someone in the kitchen is still available."
I thought for a moment and shrugged, just anything is fine. I'm not a picky eater. "Just something like bread is fine or fruits," I answered.
Beth told me she'd go take a look and asked me to sit down. She took her time, it felt like half an hour before she returned with plates balancing on her arms.
If I'd try that I'm sure it all would fall.
She placed it in front of me and my mouth dropped open at the delicious-looking food in front of me. I saw croissants and other pieces of baked buns, still steaming.
