The plan for our rescue mission was set and Jillian had just returned with a box in her hands with my name on it. My belongings from the day I had been taken.

Leuca, Jillian, and I curiously looked at the box and I was about to open it when Leuca cleared his throat and shushed me away with his hand. "Surely not, it contains weapons." He pointed to the document added onto the box with the containing items. Boo...

Leuca was the one to open it and pull out my clothes first. I made grabby hands at it so he reluctantly handed them over to me. First, he inspected all the pockets for anything hidden obviously. "Gimme," I said as I snatched it back. My tight leathery pants and black normal t-shirt. I missed you so dearly.

Jillian had nodded and stated that they were great clothes for fighting. She always wore skin-tight clothing as well.

He also pulled out my knife holder and three silver knives. He carefully placed them on the table in his sight. My favorite knife was there as well with a pointy blade and a wooden holder with silver flower details embroidered into it. "You're not getting it back, Riley. I can't." Leuca had noticed me staring at the blade. Maybe I could understand it just a tiny little bit.

He then pulled out the pouch containing my ID. I was caught on a mission so I didn't have much on me. He pulled out the ID and smirked, "yeah my photo is bad, suck it." I wasn't that photogenic.

"I think it's rather cute." He chuckled.

I pouted as I defended my babyface. "I was sixteen when it was taken! Every four years a new one is taken."

He handed me my ID, "now the only thing left is kidnapping a trainee right?" He asked.

I nodded, "yep, we'll scout the entrance. But it can take days or even weeks before we find one, we also can't fuck up."

Our bags were already packed so along with the humans we waited in the dining hall for Althea to see us off. I was beside Sam, wrapped an arm around her to comfort her. She always was such a frightened girl in Wyatt's presence.

Althea entered the room with the twins beside her as usual. She halted right in front of Leuca, "I'm glad to have seen you again and I hope you get your sister back." She didn't hesitate to hug him.

"We'll be in contact, also about the shift in witches resolve and my father. But I have other priorities on my mind now." He replied casually but he did give her a hug back.

She didn't even look at me as we headed out of her home.

On our way to this place, Amalia rode with us but now it was Wyatt who had taken her place. He had insisted to go along to the side I had appointed to Leuca.

Wyatt also insisted I sat in the back in case I tried anything. He was just scared I'd jump Leuca or something. I thought Christina was bad but Wyatt is just as loyal as her!

As I had guessed it was about an hour's drive and we stopped at the left side of the river bank which had the entrance. Maybe a bit cliche but the entrance was that of a cave. Maybe I had just been stupid thinking humans had carved out underground tunnels themselves. Magic was involved but hey, never thought about it. "That's the entrance?" Wyatt said judging.

We had left the car around five kilometers back and walked this way so a damn fancy mat black Range Rover wouldn't catch their attention.

We scouted out the place for a few days every day and all day long. Though I didn't seem to see anyone who was new or a trainee. They all seemed confident and knew what they were doing.

Finally, a petite girl with brown hair in a ponytail caught my attention. She seemed unsure and was looking around like she didn't even know where to go, she also had a big black suitcase with her. "She isn't wearing a coat, maybe it is even her first day! Get her!" I shushed both of them but it had taken Leuca a few seconds to rush her.
