My two days in confinement bored me almost to death. Though Beth did bring my dinner last night so I did see someone. She was afraid of Leuca finding out she stayed just a bit longer than she was allowed to be. Little rebel.

I wasn't allowed to do anything but just stare at the walls en ceiling. I did some workouts but that's quite boring in a room alone by yourself. I mostly napped to pass time.

On the first day of confinement, I had dreamed Leuca told me we would go on a business trip. Let me inform you that it wasn't a dream.

That vampire who controls the slaves, Tabatha was her name, demanded that I would be publicly whipped for harming or well mutilating Elaine but Leuca had already punished me and deemed that enough. I didn't know if Elaine was even alright, I honestly could care less. I do hope she behaves more now though.

She shouldn't bully. Sure, maybe it's her way of coping but picking on your fellow humans? Not cool.

The week flew by in a flash, I kind of behaved but Leuca has been very busy preparing for the trip so I didn't see him much. He also hadn't drunk from me yet since our pinky promise.

I'm not thinking about it or anything, it just randomly popped into my mind. Really.

We'll leave tomorrow and four of his nobles are tagging along from what I've heard. I still hadn't seen that sucker Wyatt, I just wanted to know if Sam was alright. And maybe if I could see her.

I was sitting currently in the room, I had placed my easel along the wall and currently was painting a snowy landscape. The trees had a slight layer of snow on them and a frozen stream followed its way down the mountains through the snowy forest.

Leuca was busily typing away at his desk. He's been distant this week and he wasn't telling me what has been on his mind. He didn't trust me with the information so I didn't pry too much, he had told me I was just a pet in the end and shouldn't get anything in my head. I didn't, he was a vampire and I was human. I knew.

But especially today he had been quite frustrated. I just kept my mouth shut before he would release it onto me. A knock on the door interrupted us both and we momentarily had eye contact. I swiftly turned my attention back to my painting.

None other than his first noble Wyatt himself came rushing in, "we have a serious problem." Wyatt said, grabbing my attention immediately. I love problems, I'm one myself after all.

Leuca sighed and then looked at me, I turned my head right away and acted as if I didn't see or hear a thing. Nope, so focused on my painting. Yep.

I heard him sigh again, "tell me about the problem." He said.

I perked my ears at that.

"Together with Christina I've also been investigating the accident half a year ago with those pesky human hunters. I'm pleased to inform you that there's a lovely traitor amongst us." Wyatt explained, and yeah, I was looking now. A traitor?

If there was one then surely they would've contacted me in any way, they should know where I'm from by now. Whenever I walked out around I was the topic of the day amongst the servants. I didn't recognize anyone.

Both Leuca and Wyatt looked at me and I felt the need to hold up my hands, "it isn't me." I announced in my defense.

Leuca gestured to Wyatt for him to sit down in one of the chairs behind the desk while Leuca sat in his usual office chair one. "How many are aware of this information?" Leuca asked.

Wyatt thought for a moment, "Christina, Jillian, and the ones currently in this room." Wyatt answered. He behaved like a goofball but right now he seemed very serious.  "We were on a walk in the garden when we found a note on the ground, we guess a mistake on the spies part."
