A Fall into Darkness

First Attack

Katherine waited as she stood on the balcony, the sun had just started to rise, she heard footsteps behind her and arms wrapped around her waist as she felt his soft lips on her cold skin.
"Do you wish to sleep alone my princess?" He whispered in her ear.
"Where is my son?"
"In his room my lady." Sebastian told her, Katherine turned around and faced him, her own arms wrapping around him. She leaned down and captured his mouth in a passionate kiss. Her hands slowly moving over his body as she pulled his shirt over his head tossing it to the floor. She turned and closed the double doors making sure the curtains were closed and took his hand and led him to the bed. The large black and gold colored oak bed, its four posts stretching high with large deep red curtains that matched the sheets. She smiled as he pulled at the laces that held the leather corset she wore over her shirt and let it fall to the floor, her black lace shirt joined it along with her bra. Sebastian looked into her black and gold eyes and slowly slid her dark jeans past her hips and to the floor. His eyes held a passion for the woman that lay naked before him as he shed the remainder of his own clothes, he leaned forward and kissed her deeply.
"I love you my dark mistress."
"I know you do. You are my sweet Sebastian, the only that has shared my bed." She said running her fingers through his dark brown hair, she dug her nails into his back as he slid into her forcefully, he leaned forward and captured her mouth in a kiss as he methodically moved in and out eliciting moans from her. She grabbed his hips and flipped him over so she was on top. She moved at a harder faster pace his hands on her hips, slowly moving up her body caressing her breasts as she threw her head back as she climaxed as he did. Katherine looked down at him and smiled, she slid off of him and pulled the sheet over them, her fingers still moving slowly over his face.
"You will never leave me or betray me would you Sebastian?"
"Only at the time of my death would I ever leave you my beautiful dark mistress."
"People have come to our home." She said looking up.
"Yes, let Benjamin deal with them, he has yet to feed." He said with a mischievous smile. Katherine nodded but still listened carefully. Her head snapped toward the door as it sprung open and men entered the room. She jumped from the bed and growled, she saw they aimed at her Sebastian. She dove at them, tearing the arm off one as her son Benjamin rushed into the room and tore the throat out of another. The final stood before her, his gun at his side as he looked at her almost glowing naked skin. She reached out and touched him her fingers tracing the light colored beard.
"Tell me why you dared to enter my home?"
"We had our orders my dark lady." He answered bowing to her.
"You know who I am?"
"Yes we have worshipped you from afar, knowing we were not yet worthy to be in your presence. Our leader felt it was time we come to you but we were to remove the obstacle that remained in our way."
"My Sebastian. Why?"
"He desires to betray you. For his own purpose he wished to control you."
Katherine turned and looked at Sebastian, Benjamin had moved toward him. Sebastian turned and drove a stake into his heart killing him instantly. A deep mournful scream came from her as she dove at Sebastian, without warning or a second thought she reached through his chest pulled out his still beating heart.
"Your family line ends with you." She said as she bit down on it as she watched him collapse to the floor dead.
"Tell me child, would you wish to join him?"
"No my dark mistress. I wish only to serve you." He said dropping to one knee and lowering his head.
"Are you alone?"
"No mistress, there are three more downstairs."
"Then you may assist me to dress and then I shall speak to them."
"I am honored." He said to her, she held her hand out to him and helped him stand, she reached down and picked up her jeans as she pulled them on, she pulled her bra on and felt his warm hands on her cold skin.
"Do you have a name?"
"I am Matthew my lady." He answered, he leaned forward and kissed her neck lightly. She reached up and touched his face.
"Later my pet." She said, she turned and kissed him. She grabbed her shirt and pulled it on and then grabbed her corest, she looked up as Matthew laced it up and tied it. She stepped into her knee high boots and held her hand out to him. They walked downstairs and she stopped on the landing, the men that were assembled dropped to their knee and lowered their heads.
"Greetings dark mistress. We did not wish to startle you, and we understand the death of our companions. They happily gave their lives to save you."
"Please stand. How did you know he would betray me?"
"I am Lucas, the leader of your followers, we had heard from a man that we had placed in with those that know of vampirs that may live in the city. He knew how powerful you are, they placed a bounty on your head and your Sebastian wanted it."
"I thank you, my home is large and always empty. How many of you are there?"
"Twenty five."
"Send for them, you may all remain here. Betray me and I will end each and everyone of you."
"Well be loyal until our last breath my dark mistress. Jacob call the others and have them come here."
"Yes sir."
"Mistress, if you would allow, as soon as they arrive we will clean the mess and dispose of the bodies as needed."
"Bury your friends in the graveyard in the back along with my son, then do as you wish with the other body."
"Yes mistress." Lucas said bowing again. Him and another headed up the stairs and once Jacob had finished he also went upstairs.
"Matthew my pet."
"Yes mistress?"
"Help your friends clean the mess."
"As you wish." He said kissing her hand. Katherine smiled and looked around, it had been a long time since others had been allowed in her home. She walked into the large great room and sat down in the large chair that faced the large fireplace.
"My mistress will our guests be staying?"
"Yes, they are human be sure that a proper meal is prepared for them."
"As you wish, lunch will be served in an hour, I will be sure your decanter of blood is ready as well."
"Very good Armond."
He bowed and left the room. Katherine sat in her chair when a glass was brought to her. She slowly drank from the glass and looked up as men and women entered her home all bowing deeply to her. Matthew made his way to her side and sat on the floor on one side of her, Lukas sat down on the floor on her other side.
"I have been told you have worshipped me from afar."
"Yes mistress, and now we wish to do as you command."
"As I told your leader, betray me and I will end you and maybe your families."
"We understand."
"Be loyal and you will be rewarded."
"Yes mistress." They all said.
"Find yourselves rooms. The room was just cleaned is off limits unless I bring you there myself. Now go."
Katherine watched as the group went to find rooms.
"Do you have enough rooms mistress?"
"This house is larger than it looks and I am betting some of these are couples, so they would share a room anyway. And sometimes those of you males that are single one or even two of you may join me in my bed. While I sleep alone the door is locked from the inside." Katherine looked at Matthew and Lukas. They both had remained on the floor next to her. She touched Lukas' face and brought him to her and kissed him deeply, she turned and did the same with Matthew. Both men slowly moved their hands over her body.
"Not now my pets." She almost cooed.
"My lady."
"Yes Armond."
"Lunch is served."
"Thank you Armond. My pets go eat."
"Will you be joining us?"
"I do not eat but I will join you at the table." She answered, she stood and walked into the large formal dining room, the twenty foot table took up a large bit of the extravagant room, matching chairs lined both sides with a large chair at the head of the table where she sat, a large silver and gold decanter sat near where she was, a clear goblet. She watched as they all sat down and large amounts of food was lay on the table.
