A Fall into Darkness

Nikolas and Katherine

Katherine was hurrying looking for Clark. She never told though she could not fly she could jump and scramble up buildings so quickly most  never saw her movements. She finally found him and quickly moved to his side only to stop in her tracks as she saw them holding him in place, pain written on his face. With an almost animalistic growl she dove at one of the humans ripping his heart out without a second thought. Katherine turned and noticed that the young man brought friends. She turned and growled at them almost hissing in the process, they advanced on her, she grabbed the first one nearly ripping his head off. Katherine grabbed another slamming him head first into the wall with a sickening noise. Two got on either side of her reached and grabbed her arms, she failed to notice the one coming up behind her as he plunged a needle into her neck, she howled in pain throwing the two holding arms away from her and grabbed the one behind her ripping out his throat before she dropped to one knee. Katherine's vision almost swimming as she turned to see Clark kneeling next to her. Her eyes turned and saw boots, her eyes cast upward as she followed the legs.
Nikolas.".
"Katherine. Sleep my sweet we will speak more later." He said to her, her eyes rolled back and she collapsed to the ground.
"Bind her and be sure its tight, I will not having her escape me."
"Yes my lord. And what of him."
"Bring him along, it seems my dear Katherine has gained a fondness for this man." Nikolas said, he walked up to Clark, Clark looked up at him then his world went black as he collapsed to the ground as well.
"Bind him as well. Keep these near by. It pays to watch her when she is more interested in this man than anything else.
"Yes my lord."
"She is to be unharmed by you or anyone else."
"My lord?"
"You have your orders."
"Yes my lord. And what of him?"
"The same, for this moment he is a guest, take him to the mansion and have him taken to the same room you place Katherine in. There should be those green rocks in the room in places they will not see."
"Yes my lord, right away." Katherine and Clark were loaded into a large car, which pulled away leaving Nikolas standing in the alley alone. He knew the others would soon notice their friends were missing. If he was in a generous mood he may let Katherine go with her new lover. It just depended on how he felt.
Katherine groaned and looked around, her arms were bound behind her but she was able to still move, she looked over to her left to see Clark laying on his side.
"Clark. Clark."
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at her and then came to the realization he was bound.
"Katherine, what happened?"
"Nikolas happened." She answered, she looked up as the door opened, two men entered and walked up and cut the ropes holding their arms. Katherine still felt too weak to deal with the humans and she could tell neither could Clark.
"Where is your master?"
"He has yet to return, we have been told you are his guests. Please come with me." He told her, Katherine stood and held her hand out hand out to Clark and followed the young man from the room, she noticed they were being brought to a large room with books, she knew how much Nikolas loved his books. And how was it that they were free to move around as his guest. Katherine did not trust anything.
"You feeling better?" She asked Clark.
"A bit. You ok?"
"I don't trust him, I didn't trust him the day I cursed him, I don't know what he's going to do."
"Then we wait and see." He said putting his arms around her. Katherine leaned against him and sighed, what was Nikolas thinking.
