Clark walked into his apartment, something he had done now for the last three months, he looked to see Bruce sitting in his livingroom.
"Hey."
"Hi, I have news." Bruce said to him. Clark set his jacket, case and glasses on the counter.
"What?" Clark said looking at him. Bruce looked toward the bedroom and then back at Clark.
"She's awake."
"Tell me I am not dreaming and you did just say that."
"Yes your awake. And so she is. Go see her." Bruce told him pointing toward the door. Clark walked toward the bedroom door and walked inside. Sitting up Katherine looked toward him.
"Katherine?"
"Hi, Bruce says I scared you?"
"Yes, you haven't moved from this spot in three months."
"I can feel your sadness, I always could."
"Really?"
"Yes, your despair and sadness finally made me wake. I could feel it. I'm sorry."
"I'm just glad your awake." Clark said kissing her.
Clark sat up gasping for air.
"Damn it not again." Clark said looking outside seeing it was still dark. He stood and headed into the bedroom. He sat down on the edge of the bed and reached out and touched her face, he moved her hair from her face. Bruce had told him that the reason he knew they could bring him back was because he never decayed it's the same with Katherine.
"Please wake up." He said softly, he couldn't handle another dream another night of waking up thinking she had awakened. He had left a message for Perry his boss that he needed a few personal days and it was understood.
"Katherine, I lost Lois, I can't lose you.  We've only been together a short time. Please I want to be with you. It's been three months."  Clark said to her, still no movement, he leaned and kissed her and walked back to the livingroom.
"Clark?"
His head snapped toward the door, he finally knew he was awake, he knew that he heard a soft voice say his name. He walked slowly into the bedroom hoping he was not hearing things.
"Katherine?"
"Clark." She said again unsure if she knew if he had heard her. He walked into the room, the moonlight illuminated her face and the black and gold eyes.
"My Katherine?"
"Clark." She slid from the bed and stood, she hadn't walked in three months and like even a human her legs did not want to work and she stumbled. He moved forward toward her.
"Let me." She said holding her hand up to him. Clark nodded and waited as she continued walking toward him until she was standing in front of him. Clark looked down into her eyes and slowly touched her face thinking as if she was nothing more than another dream.
"I'm hungry." She said looking at him.
"Come on." He said helping her into the livingroom, helping her sit down on the couch.
"Wait here." He told her. Katherine nodded and watched as he walked into the kitchen. He came back out with a cooler and handed her a bag of blood he had opened.
"Thank you." She said draining it.
"I told Bruce I was tempted to give you my blood to see if it would help."
"This was nothing your blood could have fixed. I am awake now and I am with you. No more thinking I will never come back. I told you what would happen. I love you."
"I love you too." Clark moved to her side and pulled her into his arms, he felt her cold skin through his clothes, her warm breath on his skin, her hair next to his face, the sound of her heart beating louder and better than it had in three months. She was back to him, she was not a dream but she was there physically, she was in his arms.
"You going to call Bruce and let him know?"
"Tomorrow. Tonight you are mine."
"Might want to tell him then." Katherine said pointing to the black clad figure standing on the balcony.
"Come in Bruce." Clark said looking toward him. Bruce slid the door open and was surprised to find Katherine looking back at him.
"Well it's good to see you awake your highness."
"Funny, it's good to see you Bruce. I am guessing since I am still here there have been no more threats."
"They think you are dead. I mean no one has seen you in three months."
"Well they will find out soon enough I can't live on blood bags."
"We know but for now this is your food source for a few days. Just to be sure your strong enough to go back out."
"I'll agree to that." Katherine said to them both. She knew she would have no choice but to go to the official source of her food because blood bags only had so much nutrients, she held Clark's hand and he brought hers to his lips and kissed it.
"Its good to see you awake, I will let Diana and the others."
"Others?"
"The rest of the team, we are still having problems with Barry understanding what we meant. But he offered twice to visit and sit with you."
"Oh, he's young. He will understand. And no I will not scare him."
Clark held her and smiled knowing she would show herself to Barry it as much as she would try not to she'd scare him.
