Katherine opened her eyes again and found she was sitting in a throne room, in her castle. But unlike the cult they weren't about to feed from her. Katherine couldn't concentrate enough to have control over her magic, she sat on the large ivory throne a long black and silver dress on her body around her neck a gothic style cross with a crown of gold and roses upon her head. Her arms and legs were chained to the chair, she was still gagged. She turned her head to have Clark looking back at her, even he had been changed he wore a black suit with a single red rose on the lapel, on his head a golden crown. He too was chained to the chair. Katherine looked to see someone approaching her, he reached and pulled the gag free.
"Was that wise human?"
"I am not human my queen. And we have so many drugs running through your system you cant conjour a glass of water."
"Why are we here?"
"Welcome home my queen. A proper place to rule over all vampires."
"What have you done?"
"This is your ancestral home my queen."
"If I ever get free I will kill you."
"But you won't. We will be bringing you blood soon my queen as we will be bringing your king his dinner as well. For now we will leave you, your king and the knight to talk alone."
Katherine looked up and around and spotted Bruce off to the one side. She turned her head as a young female removed Clark's gag and then stopped by Bruce and removed his. Then they were left alone.
"What happened?"
"I barely remember us leaving the apartment. I didn't know we had left the country." Bruce said to her.
"Clark."
"I'm alright, a bit foggy but alright. Did we just get kidnapped by your people?"
"It would seem so and what ever they are doing is keeping it so I am weak and cant think straight."
"I'm not any better." Clark told her, he looked between her and Bruce.
"What are we going to do?"
"I have no idea, unless they stop giving me whatever it is I can't even cast a spell."
"Would do anything if I was able to sit between you both and hold your hands if you spoke the spell if it would help?"
"Maybe if we all did. I don't know I've never tried. But right now I can't stay awake."
"Katherine,  stay awake, please don't go to sleep."
Katherine tried but finally her eyes rolled back and she went limp."
"What are they giving her?"
"A sedative, it keeps her complaint. But I am unsure how her body with as bad as it was will handle it. We have to find a way to keep them from giving it to her."
"Have them hurt me."
"Clark are you insane? The last time that happened she was unconscious for three months."
"Bruce she is our best and only way out of this."
"Then let's pray she only sleeps for three months this time."
"I know."
Clark knew they would be back in with food,  he looked up as they entered and they noticed Katherine was unconscious. Clark found enough strength to break a set of chains, enough to get several to pounce on him to hold him in place, he threw one across the room, but it was his sudden cry of pain that caused Katherine's eyes to snap open, the normal black and gold gone, now only black shown as she looked toward the vampires attacking Clark. In one swift movement the chains that held her in place snapped and she stood, she waved her hand and the chains holding Bruce disappeared. She turned her attention back to Clark and spoke an incantation and the vampires over Clark turned to dust. She raised her arms and repeated it and Bruce moved to the doorway to see vampires explode in the halls. Katherine walked down the stairs and toward the large doors, she momentarily looked at Clark and the chains holding him broke. She walked out into the hall and continued to speak her incantation vampires turning to dust as she passed them. She stopped in front of a large golden sphere and placed her hands on it she recited the incantation and her body began to glow, she added a second incantation as she continued. Bruce turned to see the main man that had started this come running into the room.
"Stop her."
"Why?"
"She will destroy all vampires that were created of her blood."
"So."
"And other bloodlines."
"Untrue young one." Katherine said, her hands never leaving the sphere.
"This will only destroy those created by the blood taken from me, not the blood I willingly gave. Mourn the loss of your brethren because they are no more. The castle is again quiet, save for you young one, I saved you for last."
"My queen it was not for disrespect."
"But it was." She said letting go of the sphere, Bruce could tell it was quite and he could tell Clark had checked. Katherine walked up to the young man, he stood shaking wondering what she would do. Katherine reached out and touched his face and he leaned into her touch like a child craving love from a parent, in one movement she removed his head and let it fall to the floor.
"Its been undone. None shall ever be born of my blood again." Katherine said, she smiled at Clark even if her eyes were totally black. He walked up to her and leaned down and kissed her. She pulled back touched his face and then her eyes rolled back and she collapsed in his arms. He checked her over and saw she was breathing but her heart was slow.
"Oh tell me I didn't lose her."
"She's exhausted, let's get her home. I'll get Alfred to bring the jet. Once she's home and rested she will be fine."
"I hope so. But she was truthful, who ever was here is gone."
Clark held Katherine close as they finally boarded Bruce's jet.
"How is she Master Wayne?"
"I have no idea if she will wake up."
"That might not be well for Mr. Kent."
"Yes I know. Let's just hope it isnt what will happen."
Clark sat with Katherine's head in his lap. He hoped once they got home she would awaken.
