Katherine stood on the rooftop with Clark.
"Are you sure you don't want me to set you down on the ground."
"Her highness will be fine." Bruce said coming up behind them.
"Go away Bruce." Katherine said, her voice giving a warning.
"Just checking on Clark, I'll keep him company while you hunt."
"Fine." Katherine said, she looked toward the ground and jumped. Clark leaned over and watched as she landed on her feet and took off into the darkness. Clark turned and looked at Bruce.
"So why are you here?"
"No reason. I have always kept an eye on Katherine."
"Well you did a lousy job. She got captured more than once "
"Yes I know. I see she has gained new followers."
"What do you mean?"
"The group dressed in black robes are either followers or want to sacrifice her. But with her family crest on their robes my guess is followers."
"I'll ask her about them later." Clark said to him, he turned his attention back to Katherine, he wasn't loosing her this time.
Katherine moved through the shadows, only one that could hear her movements was Clark and only if he knew she was there. She knew the men dressed in the black robes were following her, she smiled when her new child stepped from the shadows.
"Mother." He said moving forward kissing her hands and looking at her with eagerness of a child.
"Are you ready to learn?"
"Yes, I am hungry but was afraid if I fed before seeing you I would rip it apart."
"You would have, with me along you will learn control and moderation."
"Thank you mother. What are we to do this evening?"
"We show you where to feed." She said touching his face. Justin looked at her as he leaned into her touch, he moved forward and captured her mouth in a deep kiss, Katherine held him close to her as she deepened the kiss, she felt his hands moving up her body. Katherine pulled back but did not stop his motions as he opened her shirt and let his hands move over her now exposed breasts. She again leaned down and kissed him deeply, he turned her so her back was against the brick wall behind her but they were in the shadows away from prying eyes. Katherine knew that meant Clark could not see her, but she did not care she would allow her child do to as he wished for now. Justin pulled back and looked up into her onyx colored eyes, he moved his hand over her face. Katherine ran her hands down his body and unbuttoned his pants, she slid her own past her hips as she finally felt him slid into her. She leaned back against the wall as he moved faster and harder than he would if he was still human. She pulled him closer as she kissed him deeply, she moaned loudly as she felt him find his release. She slid back and pulled her jeans back up as she moved her hands down his body again and slid him back into his pants. Justin kissed her deeply again, he acted as if she was the air he needed to breath. Katherine pulled back and touched his face.
"Come my son, let us feed." She said taking his hand.
"Will I get one to play with?"
"Yes, you can take one to your home. Play with her or him as you see fit."
"Is that not kidnapping mother?"
"As vampires we so things differently. You can make it seems as if they asked to go with you. But my son if you have to leave your home ask them to stay or bind them. Most will stay willingly. Now come." She led him down the alley, she heard a noise and turned in time to catch what seemed to be an arrow, her eyes instantly to Justin as the other arrow pieced his heart. He looked at her momentarily before he burst into flames. A mournful wail came from her as her eyes scanned the darkness. She looked up as Clark landed down next to her, he saw the young man that was now burnt beyond recognition. Katherine kept looking until she saw movement and in a swift move that Clark barely saw she dove at the figure. Katherine pinned the cloaked figure against the brick wall.
"Tell me why I shouldn't end your pathetic life here and now." She growled, she could smell her fear, she leaned forward and almost licked her.
"You won't kill any of us mistress."
"You failed on this, you killed my child. And nearly me. So try again little girl."
"We did not intend that my mistress."
"You're their warning. Come near me again and I will kill you all." Katherine said slamming her fist into in the girls chest and pulled her still beating heart from her chest, she let the girl fall to the ground and drank from the heart and then dropped it to the ground. She stepped from the shadows and looked at Clark.
"Are you done?"
"Yes."
"Alright." He said picking her up, Katherine looked toward the burnt figure of Justin and sighed.
