the air begins to shimmer a light gold the occasional spark flying from the shimmering wall.it looks almost like a pond." after you peach" bran says twirling his head and bowing. jorden steps in front of me and shoos bran forward "let's go oatmeal" bran cocks his head to the side and smirks. "fine then sunshine" he says stepping back through the wall. "is he in alzar?" I whisper. "ya," Alice says smiling. "farewell," Alice says scooching past us and saluting.and with that she disappears.

chris goes next. then Friday and Lilian.jorden and I are left alone. jorden turns to me and my heart lifts. "can I have my jacket back?"  he says avoiding eye contact with me. my heart shatters "ya ok here you go" I say shrugging off jorden's leather jacket. and handing it over to him instantly missing the smell of evergreens and cinnamon. "thanks" he says pulling the jacket on. "yeah no problem" I sigh. he looks at me than his face going pale "I forgot you were wearing...wow ok...um...ok take this back" he says handing his jacket over again. "you don't need to do this jorden" he looks confused "do what?". I gesture to his jacket "don't pretend you care cause I know you don't" he pushes the jacket against my chest "I do care your, my friend, I said I'd try but nice to see what your thinking" he turns around and walks through the wall leaving me alone. I notice I am clutching the jacket way to tightly. "damn you jorden fey" I mutter and step through the portal.

cold shoots through me. then I'm filled with nausea. I sink to my knees and puck my guts out.i'm vegley aware of a hand rubbing circles on my back. "shhh it's ok this is normal your ok" Alice. after I'm finished I look up around us.it's the same hill from my dream.the one difference is there's a girl no more than 13 standing with her back to us.it might be my mind playing tricks on me but it looks like she has horns and a tail a dragon tail.spikes and all. the top half of her body seems to be covered in scales. her short blonde hair flying in the wind. then she speaks her voice booming from her place on the field. "WHY HAVE YOU PORTALED TO ALZAR IN THE MIDST OF THE FESTIVAL OF LOVE!!!" I lean towards Alice and whisper "is that like Valentine's day?" she nods and leans closer to me "it's a week-long festival where the passion fairy's go around making matches by the end you'll have found someone to love.thats sorta the whole point of the festival.and if you already love someone you'll be pushed closer and closer to them until you can't fight the feelings any longer" she then smiles exitedly. "in my opinion its the best time to come to alzar!"  she jumps up and down exitedly. I'm not so sure though it seems dangerous. "ANSWER ME!" bran answers her "we're here to join the festivities miss" then the dragon girl turns to us "oh look oatmeals back in town" she sighs "very well" she rolls her eyes "I will grant access if..." bran glares at the girl "we don't have all day Neela!" "it's quick!... I require a display of true love to allow you into alzar" bran curses then turns to us "any of you dorks in love?" Alice smirks and raises her hand "magnolia is!" it's so funny how she's changed emeaditly after she became my friend. "no!no I'm not Alice!" I say through gritted teeth. I look to Friday and Lilian. the girl Neela sees me looking "each of you!" she giggles. jorden glares "that's bullshit!" Neela shrugs "maybe but it's my condition...ladies first," she says turning to Lilian and Friday.they kiss quickly. "I grant you access to alzar" they looked relived "meet you guys in there" Friday calls as she and Lilian run down the hill. Alice skips over to Chris and pecks his cheek "I'll always love you!" she smiles "you to Ali" he looks to the girl she looks bored with them "fine go I can tell it's just friendly the boy loves another" she pauses "now go" Chris looks reluctantly to us.jorden waves him off "we'll meet you in the square" I laugh nervously "soooo you guys gonna kiss or what?" bran looks at me clearly horrified by the suggestion. "ok so no?" I ask. Neela speaks again "and may I remind you that only one can kiss the girl...the other may do somthing else of my choosing or stay with me for eternity" jorden steps forward "I'll stay with you" she laughs slightly "silly boy your the one she wants" he looked back to me." is what she says true magnolia?" I can't speak I just look down at my feet. jorden walks over to me and places a hand under my chin tilting it up slightly making me stare into his beautiful eyes." tell me the truth mags" my heart melts at the use of my nickname. "it's true" I whisper "and I know you don't fell the same and I come to terms with that I understand you don't feel that way towards me and that all you want is friendship..." he cuts me off by placing a finger to my lip."shut up" he whispers and leans down kissing me.i'm suddenly aware that I just puked our first kiss and i just puked!!! I hate you life whyyyyyy??!! then I focus on him his smooth lips kissing mine my hands entangled in his golden hair.I don't even remember them moving there.I break away. "jorden?" he smiles "yeah?" "you are literally so confusing you know that!!!" he laughs "magic I cast in the human world wore off when we entered alzar" I slap him on the arm "ow what was that for?" "for not telling me like "oh hey by the way the feeling I totally have for you came back while you were barfing you guts out" that might have been nice" he looks offended "I would have but it's not the easiest thing to fit into a conversation" I roll my eyes "yeah sure". bran coughs "there are other people here guys". I spin to face bran "sorry" he shrugs "I'll steal your heart soon enough peach"there's a glint in his eye that makes my skin crawl.jorden grabs my hand "goodbye and good ridence oatmeal." and with that we take off running down the long grassy hill.
