I sit in the cave the cold stone floor against my bare legs. the bright green fire lights the room fully there's more writing on the walls from Audrey but all I can see is the small green fox watching me from the corner like I was a wounded rabbit." what do you want" I hiss glaring at it. it takes a nimble step towards me "I'm already taken" I frown. "miss. Greenberry you have returned for me" it had a slimy voice stepping closer "I knew you'd come back once you got me out I knew you'd return sooner or later I make you stronger always have always will" it's another kitsune. "tell me how did I get rid of you last time?" the fox shook it's head "no no no I won't tell that's not part of the game" I sigh "fine" I turn to go back into the water and feeL a sharp pain explode on my side I turn to see that the kitsune has bitten me green flames flickering from the wound they soon turn blue and I feel as if I've turned into a ghost because out of the wound springs a ball of blue flame that slowly turns into a large fox it's many tails swinging back and forth stoking the tendrils of fire. the kitsune it's out I stare at the scene before me my kitsune backing the smaller green one into a corner. I turn back to the exit running and jumping into the painfully cold water. I swim as fast as I can to the shore scraping my arms on the narrow side of the waterfall. I jump onto the shore scooping up my clothes and sprinting away. I hear screaming in my brain "idiot!stupid! you made the connection weaker what did you do!!!" the kitsunes voice screeching. "I ditched the fox" I smile "don't get too smug I'm still here!" the voice says angrily before I feel their presence leave. I keep my stride running back to where I remember the camp. when I reach the camp I find Chris and kit laying unconscious.
