my jaw drop's and my body goes' limp. it feel's as if the flame in my heart has been blown out leaving an empty pit of frozen feeling."w-what?" I manage to choke out. The dragon man pull's me closer stoking a stray hair from my face."i killed him" and he laugh's, laugh's that the one person who loved me since my parent's where alive is dead.my eye's burn with the tear's i'm trying to hold back. "are you going to cry little gifted are you going to cry over your little boyfriend.it wouldn't have worked anyway" he shrug's as if it's the most casual thing "you my little gifted aren't like the other's..." he's whisper's placing kisses' along my jaw line "stop" i say weakly. But he continue's "you live longer and will grow more beautiful then him for you...magnolia..." he say's my name sweetly trying it out on his tounge. 

"you are the true gifted. Your soul has been alive for thousands'  of year's. And as the other gifted's slowly become more and more rare...well darling there soul's are added to yours"

he continues kissing my jawline. "stop!" I say with more force this time. He just smirk's against my skin reminding me painfully of Jorden with his golden hair. "Jorden's dead"  the same voice that told me I loved him say's to me."i love him" i whisper the word's that I've never said to anyone but Jorden. the dragon boy's head snap's up his feature's hard "oh really?" he say's smirking. "yes" I say firmly calling on the flame inside of me .But it doesn't come "the little gifted is going to use her power's on me! why do'ya think i killled the fairy boy and not the siren?" he laughed "the boy was the heart of you and that mean's no more power's"i glare at him blinking rapidly to stop the tear's from comeing. my heart feel's as if it's being crushed with a sledehammer. i glance down at alice on the ground unconchious."i can kill her to you know" the dragon boy say's almost happily."don't-don't just take me" 

when we reach the clearing where Alice and I flew away i see him. His eye's glassy with death his golden hair soaked with scarlet blood.i let out a strangled scream clawing at the hand's gripping my own drawing up black blood from his wrist's. "JORDEN!!" i scream falling to my knee's my hand's still being held above my head.my head pounding pain in every pore of my skin. tear's spill from my eye's and onto the grass of the forest floor. i try one more time to get away from my captor beating my wing's behind me.it knock's him off balance causing with to lose balance letting go of my wrist's. I sprit to Jorden's body laying limp in the grass. I slide to my knee's beside him. Pulling his limp form onto my lap and for a moment I don't want to be here alive.I grab a dagger from Jorden's belt turning it on myself. "it should have been me" i whisper bringing the cold quartz blade to rest over my heart.

it price's the skin and i put it down. Jorden would be disappointed in me if he saw me now. Here ready to take my own life. Just because it should have been me doesn't mean it was. I bend over him the blood from his head staining my yellow dress I curl my wing's around us. I press a kiss to his forehead my tear's spilling onto his face a mask of pain .He died alone. I think as I pull him closer. i feel someone try to pull at me wing's trying to get to me but I stay bolted to the ground .I bring my bloody hand to close his glassy eye's. He could be sleeping if it weren't for the stab wound on his shoulder and the blood now just a slow flow trickling from his forhead.Jorden would know a spell to save someone dyeing."he's not dyeing magnolia he's dead"  the little voice say's in my head. "I love you" I whisper through sobs "I-I love you so much" i cry the word's staring down into Jorden's lifeless face. Suddenly his cheast move's slightly and i gasp he's alive! he cough's blood splattering on my face but i don't care. "i love you to Maggie" he smile's. "your alive" i cry and kiss his bloody mouth. I break away and look into his eye's sadness evident in them."I'm dyeing Maggie" "no no I'll get you to a healer where do i go Jorden?" his cheast has stopped moving "tell me what to do" i cry out."i love you" he smile's staring into my eye's. And he let's out one last ragged breath."Jorden! Jorden! JORDEN!" i scream as the light leave's his eye's. "I'm sorry Jordy I'm so sorry" I sob resting my head on his unmoving cheast.
