Chapter 31

A few weeks later it was Christmas morning. Asia had breakfast fixed for her, the kids and Josh because he was supposed to be coming there early.

"I can't wait til dad comes with the good gifts", Nicole said.

Asia comes out the kitchen and into the living room. "What was that?", Asia asked.

"Nothing", Nicole said with a smile.

"Mhmm", Asia said. "You don't even know what I got you"

"Mom dad said he was going to get me a Louis Vuitton purse", Nicole said.

Asia shakes her head. "You must meant me", asia said.

"Uh uh you got a boyfriend. Daddy spending most of his money on me", Nicole said.

Asia chuckles. "You got a boyfriend too. What is he getting you?", Asia asked.

"Probably some soap", Jakobi said. "Cause she need it"

"Shut up", Nicole said.

Jakobi chuckles.

Josh comes in the house with a gifts.

"There we go", Nicole said with a smile.

"Now y'all can open the gifts", Asia said as she leaned her shoulder on the wall as she sipped her coffee.

Josh walks to Asia and hands her a gift.

"You didn't have to Josh", Asia said.

Josh puts the gift bag in her hand.

"Thank you", Asia said as she put her mug down.

She opens the gift and it's a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

"Oh my gosh Josh! How did you know I wanted these??", she asked.

"Nicole told me", He said.

"Oh my gosh", she said as she tried them on. "Thank you so much". 

Asia hugged josh tight. "I love you so much", she said.

Josh's smile went away because he knew she wasn't talking about the type of love that he still had for her.

Asia pulled away.

Josh fake smiles and watches the kids open their gifts.

"See this is what I mean. We got Nike shoes from mom and giuseppe's from dad", Nicole said. "Now which is better?"

Asia chuckles. "Oh hush", Asia said. "Josh I have a plate for you in the kitchen if you're hungry"

Josh snaps out of it looks at Asia. "Huh?", Josh asked.

"Follow me in the kitchen real quick. I need your help with something", Asia said as she walked in the kitchen.

Josh follows her.

"You good?", Asia asked looking at him. "You had that same sad facial expression at their party"

Josh shrugs as he picks up the plate of food. "I just missed so much of their life. I didn't see them blow of their first candle or open their first gift.. I don't know it's like stuff is hitting me now", Josh said.

Asia slightly smiles to keep from looking sad. She felt bad. "Josh it could be worst. You could not have seened them their whole life. At least you're here now", Asia said.

Josh nods.

"But.. I have I need some advice", Asia said.

"What?", Josh asked as he took a bite of bacon.
