19 - Scarlett

Scarlett's POV:

Christmas with Carson's family was always hectic, he had a huge family as it was but now that all 4 of them were married and having kids of their own it was even crazier.
His 3 younger sisters hadn't ventured to far from the family home and all married local men, Kyla was the second eldest - she was married to Shaun and they had 2 girls Poppy and Cara aged 6 and 4, Mel was the next one down the line - she was currently 28 - she married a man named Mal - I know right Mel and Mal and they had one little girl who was 7 named Alena, the youngest in the family was Rylee she had only just turned 26 and was married to Sam - there first child a little boy named Jasper was only 6 weeks old, so you take all that add in our lot, his Mum and Dad and his grandparents and you are set for a whole lot of crazy - and I loved it.

Carson's family home was a massive property - his father bred horses and cattle, it had been a family business handed down through generations and when Cage decided to go for a career in football the business went to Kyla who runs it now alongside Shaun.
His parents Drake and Corrine were two of the most wonderful people you would ever meet and whilst it was never said - it was clear Carson being the only boy got away with just a little bit more than the others.

"Oh, here are my beautiful grandchildren" Corrine came barreling through the front door as we pulled into the driveway, Logan was out and in his grandmothers arms while Cage grabbed Mya and I removed Carter from his car seat.

"It is no surprise the two of you would produce such gorgeous children" she went on kissing Cage on the cheek and reaching for Mya which only lasted about 2 minutes before the tears started and she was near jumping out of Corrine's arms wanting her Daddy.

"Don't take it personally Mum - it's a new faze she's started going through" Carson commented,

"And we are just loving it" I added sarcastically,

"Look at this little man, oh Carson he is just like you - may I?" She held her hands out for Carter but stalled to ask my permission,

"Of course" I answered her, handing over my son,

"Oh he is precious, look at these chubby legs and cheeks - oh Scarlett your children are so amazing"

"We think so" Cage came up and wrapped his arm around my waist, kissing my cheek as he stood alongside me,

"Let them breath Corr - we don't want them to be smothered"

"You tell your grandpa to be quiet Logan - I will coddle my grandchildren, my son and his lovely wife as much as I please"

"I tried boy" Drake held his hand out to Carson who took it and was pulled in for a hug "You look good son, the quiet life definitely agrees with you"

"It sure does"

"Hey gorgeous" Drake pulled me into his arms wrapping them tightly around me,

"Dad, back off, not so tight"

"Oh come on son, I haven't seen you in so long"

"It's ok Drake, you know how protective your son gets when it comes to his kids" I smiled at him,

"His kids??" He looked at Carson who shrugged his shoulders and gave his Dad a wide smile, "you're pregnant?" Drake looked at me than back at Carson, before pulling me in for another hug,

"Another baby, oh Carson, Scarlett this is wonderful"  With Carter safely in her arms she gave me a kiss on the cheek before approaching her son,

"Thanks Ma"

"Congrats boy - you always did want a big family, now how about we get inside and raid Grandmas lolly jar?" Drake took Logan's hand and led him inside the house - Corrine hot in his heels with Carter still in her arms,
