It's Kinda Cold (Elsa X Honeymaren)

Chapter 7

Elsa's POV

With everything that had happened I had completely forgotten that we were leaving for Arendelle tomorrow. Ughh I don't know what to do. I hope this goes well because I can't stand the thought of anything bad happening while Honeymaren is there. I have finally excepted the fact that I have feelings for her and I must say it feels good to stop ignoring the feeling.

As I finally finish putting the last piece of clothing into my bag my I hear my tent open and I turn around to see Ryder standing there looking a little nervous. "Hey Ryder," I say and he fidgets a little. "Hey..... Elsa, I wanted to ask you something."
"Ask away," I say while still moving my stuff around. "Do you like Maren?" I stopped when I heard this and I started to feel a light frost around my feet. "I-I mean of course I do she's my friend." He looks at me like I'm joking. "You know what I mean Elsa." I feel my face growing hot as I looked down at my feet and whispered, "Yes." All of a sudden I hear a girly squeal. I look up to see Ryder grinning ear to ear. "I knew it. You could totally tell. The looks and little glances. Aww, you guys will be so cute." He says fangirling. "Ryyderr." I groan. "Please don't tell your sister I don't know what I would do if I lost her as my friend," I say nervously. "My lips are sealed, you don't have to worry about a thing." He says and then runs out of my tent. "Ughhh what am I supposed to do now?!?," I groan thinking out loud." All of a sudden I feel warm arms wrap around my waist and I jumped slightly at the contact. Weirdly it felt calming and I relax easily into the mystery person's arms. "Are you okay?" Said the voice that immediately recognized as Honeymaren. "I'm just a little stressed out," I responded while I leaned my head on hers. "Hmmm how about we get something to eat then we have a sleepover? Sound good?" I can hear the smile in her voice. "Sure," I say then turn around and give her a hug. "Perfect." She says giving me a smile. As she's about to walk out of my tent she turns around and says, "Also, why is there frost everywhere?"
"Umm....." I feel myself go red. She lets out a cute giggle and walks out.

After we ate and got ready for bed we went back to my tent. "Will you have time to show me around, Arendelle while we're there?" Maren asks me. "Of course I'm just going to support Anna so I'm sure I'll have plenty of free ." Luckily she didn't ask and just smiled. "Hey, Elsa.... I never did thank you for everything you've done for my people and I wanted to says thank you." She said. "It wasn't just me you know my sister did most of it." I pointed out. "But you did do some of it and I wanted to thank you." She said. I looked at her for a second before saying, "Your welcome then." She smiled and then yawned. "We should probably get some rest we've got a long road ahead of us tomorrow. Goodnight."
"Goodnight," I say and I close my eyes and try to sleep. After I hear soft little snores I get up from the bed and walk outside. I feel the cool air against my chest as I sit down on a rock. I let out a sigh and sit there for a while, looking at the sky.

After sitting there for a while I stood up and walked back to my tent only to see Honeymaren lying on her stomach reading. "You know it's pretty late you shouldn't be up." She says reading. "You shouldn't either." I point out and she turns to me letting out a chuckle. "Fair point." She says and pats the spot next to her on the bed, I lye down next to her. She puts the book away and lays on her side looking at me for a second. "Come here." She demands. "What?" She smirks and pulls me close, cuddling into me. I can feel my face burning up but I start to feel sleepy and ignore it, instead I just hug her back and fall asleep.

Next Morning

"Elsa it's time to wake up." I groaned a tired no at the voice. "Come on if we want to make it to Arendelle by nightfall we need to leave early." I hear the voice say. I let out another groan and the person sighs then all I feel is a warm hand on my arm trying to pull me up. I finally open my eyes to see Honeymaren literally dragging me out of bed. I feel bad for giving her trouble so I immediately try to stand up and walk on my own. By doing this I trip over the corner of the rug that was next to my bed and fall right into her knocking us both down. I hear her groan underneath me and I immediately stand up. "I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to fall into you," I say repeatedly while helping her up. "Elsa it's okay." She said giggling as she stood up. "Sorry," I say. "Elsa..."
"Yes?"
"Do you mind unfreezing my feet?" She says with a shy smile looking down at her shoes. "Oh in sorry," I say quickly getting rid of the ice that was starting to freeze over her feet and the rest of my floor. She lets out a laugh and says, "I'll let you get ready while I talk to Yelana real quick."
"Okay." She sends me a soft smile and leaves.

I walk out of my tent after getting ready and look at Ryder who is feeding the reindeer some carrots. I feel a little tap on my shoulder and turn around to see Honeymaren grinning, "Alright we're ready to go." I nod my head and she gets on one of the reindeer. As we're about to start riding away Yelana walks up to us and says, "Be careful and remember to protect each other."
We all nod our heads at her to reassure her and she smiles waving us off.
