Epilogue

Honeymaren's POV

Three years later

Okay, today's the big day. Come on Honeymaren just ask. I pace around the room franticly while Ryder sits in the bed playing with Winter who is fully grown now. "Calm down Maren. I'm sure she'll say yes." Ryder says and I stop in front of him. "You don't get it, Ryder. This is harder than asking the parents, this is asking the sister. Anna." I say and he shrugs. "Anna likes you and as long as you treat her sister right she won't hesitate to say yes," Ryder says and stands up. He puts his hands on my shoulders to stop me from moving and stares into my eyes with determination. "Breathe Maren." He says and I take a deep breath before exhaling slowly. He smiles and puts an arm around my shoulders. "Okay now let's go." He commands and walks out into the castle corridor with me. We had come to Arendalle for family game night and now is finally my chance to ask Anna.

"Okay, ready Maren?" I nod and let out a deep breath before raising my hand to the door and knocking three times. "Come in." I take another breath before pushing the door open and walking in. "Oh hi, Maren. If you're looking for Elsa, she went out with Kristoff. Something about ice." She says looking up from some papers. "Umm actually I wanted to talk to you about something," I say and she nods before gesturing towards the chair in front of her desk. "Okay, what's up?" She puts down the papers and gives me her full attention. "Anna...I love your sister with all of my heart and we've been together for a while now....so I uh..I.." she raises an eyebrow and lets out a small chuckle. "Yes, Honeymaren."
"Wait what?" I ask confused and she smiles. "Yes, you have my blessing. I know how much you mean to my sister and I love her very much. Years ago I asked you if you love her, and you answered yes without any hesitation. If you want this then go after it, I really like you. You made my sister open up and she's happier with you." I sit there speechless as she continues. "Honestly I've been expecting this. I'm surprised you didn't ask a while ago." She says chuckling before standing up and walking around the desk. I stand and she hugs me. "Thank you," I whisper and she pulls away grinning. "My pleasure. Now show me the ring." She says and I immediately pull out a small silver band with a small shiny blue stone in the middle out of my pocket. "Aww, Honeymaren it's beautiful." She gushes. "It's been in my family for generations. Do you think she'll like it?" I ask and she smiles. "She'd love a stick as long as it was from you Maren." I smile at this and suddenly her face gets firm. "So where is this happening?" I smile sheepishly and put the ring back into my pocket. "Well, I was hoping to get your opinion on that." She grins widely and claps her hands. "Of course. Now, what do you have in mind?" I gently grab her hand and pull her towards the balcony. I gesture towards the frosty forest and grin. "I want to propose at the place where we first met," I say proudly and Anna smiles. "Aww, that's so sweet," She gushes then gasps. "When do you want to do this?"
"Well since you and Kristoff are coming back with us for the big meeting. I talked to some friends who already set everything up." I say sheepishly. "Aww, that's wonderful Maren. She's gonna love it."
"Thanks, Anna." I hug her and she grins. "Now let's go play some charades." She says before pulling me out of the office and downstairs.

Time Skip to the Next Morning

"Okay, your majesty everything is packed up in your carriage and ready to go." One of the butlers says to Anna who looks sleepy. "Okay thank you, Nolan." She says through a big yawn and we walk out of the castle. "Hey, where's Elsa?" Anna asks looking around. "Here!" We turn and see the beauty walking out of the castle. "Hi Honey." I find myself grinning as she gives me a peck on the cheek and climbs into the carriage. "Man you got it bad," Ryder says and I glare at him. "Is everything ready for today?" I ask and he nods. "Yep, I've got the flowers in the back." He says and points a thumb over his shoulder to the back of the carriage. "Perfect, and the snow?"
"We can get it when we're there you know that right?" He points out. I huff and nod in agreement. "Okay let's get this show on the road." He says and sits next to Kristoff who's gonna be driving. I climb into the cozy carriage and sit next to Elsa and Olaf who was asleep. "What was that about?" Elsa asks referring to me and Ryder. "Oh nothing Love," I say sweetly and she smiles softly before laying her head on my shoulder and lulling off to sleep. After admiring the sleeping beauty I look up and see Anna grinning at me sleepily with Winter sleeping peacefully on her lap.

"Honey it's time to wake up. We're gonna have a lunch break." I hear a sweet voice say. I open my eyes and see those beautiful blue eyes looking down at me. "Hi," I say and grab her by the waist to pull her to me. "Hello," She responds and giggles as I bury my face into her neck. I take a deep breath and close my eyes. "Come on Honey. I'm hungry." She says and I smile. "Alright let's go feed my queen." I tease and pull away. We climb out of the carriage and go over to where everyone is sitting down by a small pond eating. "Oh look who's awake," Ryder says with his cheeks full. I stick my tongue out at him and sit down on a large rock. Elsa sits down next to me and offers me an apple. I take the apple and start munching. "Hey, sis can you help Kris drive? I'm soo tired." Ryder says with a wink. "Sure," I say and look over at Kristoff who looks confused. I give him a just go with it look and he nods.

After we all ate everyone went back to the carriage and I wasn't next to Kristoff in the front. "Okay, what's going on?" Kris asks in a low voice. "I'm gonna propose today," I say and he grins. "That's great. Just hope that it doesn't end up like my proposals." He says and cringes. I laugh and I pat his back. "Do you think you can make a distraction so I can sneak off with Ryder?" He nods and thinks for a moment before lighting up. "I'll trip and need some ice." He says excitedly while I nod. "Okay. Just wait for my signal." I say and cup my hands around my mouth and make a cooing sound. "Perfect now where are we stopping?"
"Just a little ways from where we met in the clearing," I say and he nods excitedly. "This is exciting I feel like a spy." I laugh at his childishness and nod.

After a while longer of filling Kristoff in on the plan, he finally says it. "We're here." I nod and he tells Sven to stop. We stop and I look around at the familiar woods around me. Home. I take a deep breath and hop off the carriage. "We're here already?" Elsa asks and gets off the carriage. "Oh Kristoff got hungry so he's gonna eat something and check the wheels," I say perfectly after rehearsing it for an hour. She raises an eyebrow but nods. I look at Ryder and he nods. Ryder climbs off the carriage and goes around to the back. I cup my hands around my mouth and make the cooing noise. Suddenly there's a yelp from Kristoff who's on the ground clutching his leg. Elsa, Anna, and Olaf rush over to him and Anna sends me a quick wink. I motion for Ryder and he grabs two baskets and we both bolt towards the clearing. Once we get to the clearing I help Ryder up a tree and fill the other basket with snow. I carefully get the basket up the tree and give Ryder a thumbs up. I take a deep breath before cupping my hands again and making the cooing noise. After a couple of seconds, I start to hear voices and footsteps approaching us. I gulp and look up at Ryder who's giving me a thumbs up. I take one last breath before I see Elsa come into view looking at me curiously. "Honey, what are you doing?" Suddenly snow and Flowers start to fall around us. She looks around confused as I quietly approach her. "Elsa...I love you so much, I've never met anyone like you. You're absolutely amazing and I can't imagine my life without you. Every day I keep falling deeper and deeper that's why I couldn't help myself." I shakily reach for my pocket and pull the ring out. "Will you marry me?" Her eyes go wide before a big grin breaks out on her face and she tackles me into a hug. "Oh my gosh." She yells while she's on top of me. I laugh and she cuts me off by pulling me in for a long sweet kiss. "I'll take that as a yes?" I say breathlessly after she pulls away. "Absolutely." She says goofily. I bury my face into her neck and laugh. I move my arm out from under her and show her the ring. She gasps and looks at me as if to ask for permission. I nod my head and she gently takes it from my hand to look at it. After she looks it over I gently grab her hand and the ring and slip it on one of her delicate fingers. "Honey I have one question though." She says with a serious face. What if she regrets saying yes. "What is it?" I ask, worried. "Where are the flowers and snow coming from?" I laugh and tilt my head up. She looks up and we see Ryder looking down at us from a branch grinning. "Hiii," He yells from above while waving. We wave back at him and he starts climbing down the tree. "I love you." I can't help the word slip out of my mouth. She smiles and presses her lips to mine. "I love you too." I grin up at her and I hear Ryder clear his throat. "You know as cute as this is I'm hungry and I'm craving grandma's stew," Ryder says from above us. I scowl at him and Elsa giggle as she gets off of me. I pull myself up off the frosty forest floor and stand up. "Ready?" I ask and she slips her into mine and gives me a peck in the cheek. "Definitely."
