Chapter 16

Elsa's POV

After I came down from my high from the kiss that I had just shared with Honeymaren I started to get ready for dinner and Anna's "surprise" I wonder what she's up to. Oh my gosh, I need to tell Anna about the kiss. I squealed out loud and quickly showered and got changed.

Right when I'm done I rush down the corridor to Anna's room and find her sitting on her bed talking to Kristoff. "Kristoff you need to leave." She said when she saw me. "What why?" He whines. "Because I recognize that look, Elsa had something to tell me." She says getting up and shooing him out of the room. We both sit down and she looks me seriously in the eyes. "Okay spill."
"We kissed!!" I whisper yell excitedly. "I knew it. I knew it, you love her!!" She said loudly in a singsong voice and she giggles. She suddenly stops. "Wait noooooo."

Honeymaren's POV

"Yessss!!" Ryder exclaimed jumping from his bed. "I won the bet!!" He cheers. "Wait what bet?" I ask confused. "Ummm."
"Ryder."
"Yes?" He squeaks out.
"What bet?" I ask sternly.
"I may or may have not have made a bet with Anna about you and Elsa getting together." He says fidgeting. "What?!?! Was it that obvious?" I ask and he laughs. "She was always blushing around you and you guys are always cuddling. So yeah it was pretty obvious." He says and I groan, putting my head in my hands. "Wait we're not official though. What if she doesn't want to be with me." I say sadly and Ryder sighs. "Maren you are amazing and the way she looks at you there's no doubt she likes you. Just ask her tonight." He says. "But she's literally a freaking goddess," I exclaim and he shakes his head. "A goddess that loves you, and if you love her too you won't let go. Okay?" He says looking straight into my eyes. "Yeah you're right I'm going to ask her. Also, when did you get good at love advice?" I ask him curiously. "I've always been good at it." He says offended. "You've never even dated anyone," I say scoffing. "Well Mare, coaches don't play." He says and gives me a wink. "Whatever." I laugh and he huffs. "Come on let's go get dinner I'm hungry and Anna said there's a surprise." He says excitedly. I roll my eyes and nod my head.

Once we get downstairs to the dining room we see Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf sitting down at the table talking. Once we sit down everything suddenly got quiet. I look over at Elsa who's smiling and blushing. I give her a smirk then look at Anna who is staring at me intently, which throws me slightly off guard. Why is she looking at me like that? I think to myself scared of what the tiny ginger is gonna do to me. "Hey Honeymaren, I was wondering if we can talk after dinner," Anna said but not as a question. I hear Elsa start coughing and I gulp nodding slowly. She looks satisfied with my answer and turns to look at Elsa whose glaring at her. "Ummm okay," Kristoff says weirded out by what's going on. I say and the silence starts again. "Okay, im dying to know. What the surprise?" Ryder says urgently. I see Anna glance over Kristoff smiling. "You'll see soon." She says.

"Okay now that we're alone. Tell me about yourself." Anna demands. She pushed me into her study after dinner now here I am sitting in a chair in front of her desk waiting for a savior. "Umm, what do you what to know?" I say nervously. "I just want to make sure you won't break my sister's heart." She says sitting down on her chair and putting her boots on the desk. "Well?"
"I don't think I'm capable of doing that," I say quietly. "If anyone is gonna end up with a broken heart it's me," I say my voice cracking towards the end. I see her gaze soften slightly before getting back into protective sister mode. "Do you remember when Elsa froze?" She asks me and I wince as I remember the day.

Memory

"Guys look the mist!!" I hear Ryder say and I look up to see the mist that prevented us from looking at the sky fading away. "Wow look at the sky. I just never realized there was so much of it." Ryder says in admiration and I bump his shoulder. "How did it happen?" I ask Ryder. "The queen, Elsa, she went to Ahtohallan Mare. She found the truth." My eyes widened at his response. The beautiful queen that took my heart at first sight saved my people. "Really?! Where is she I want to thank her," I say excitedly. Then suddenly his face turns sad. "Mare they said that she died." He said his voice cracking. No no no she can't be dead. "What?" I say in disbelief.

Memory Over

"Yes I remember," I whisper and nod. That's the day I thought I lost my chance at seeing the beautiful snow queen ever again. "I thought I had lost my sister forever. The person that I love most in the world. I don't want you to hurt her." She says. "I won't I promise," I respond and she thinks for a minute. "Honeymaren tell me something. Do you love my sister?" She asks me seriously. "Yes," I say without hesitation. "Hmmm okay. That's all I need to hear." She says getting up. Wait that's it? "Come on your brother is getting impatient for the surprise." She says grinning and walking out the door. I sit there for a moment stunned before I walk out into the corridor. Suddenly I'm tackled onto the floor. "Honey I'm soo sorry. What did she say? I understand if you don't wan-" I cut her off by giving her kiss and she gives me a grin. "As much as I love this position I really don't want to keep the others waiting," I said and she looked down. "Oh sorry." She says getting off of me. "Okay snowflake lets go," I say and get off the floor.

Once we got downstairs I can see Ryder jumping around in excitement. "Okay guys we better hurry before it gets too dark," Anna says and we walk out of the castle and see Kristoff already waiting for us on a wagon with Sven and Olaf. "Anna where are we going?" Elsa asks kind of nervous. "Don't worry just hop on." She responds and we all get onto the wagon. We all get on the sled and Kristoff starts going. "Don't worry it's not a long trip, I just don't feel like walking," Anna says lazily. "Okay." I head Elsa mumble under her breath. I look to my left and see her bouncing her leg up and down anxiously. I look at her and she sends me a nervous smile. I gently grab her hand and she slowly relaxes and leans her head on my shoulder. I can see Ryder across from us next to Anna smirking and making kissing faces. I stick my tongue out at him and glare and I hear Elsa next to me chuckle.

Finally, I feel the wagon stop and I move slightly to my left and see Elsa asleep on my shoulder. She looks like an angel or a goddess. Oh, wait. Ha, I crack myself up. I lightly tap her in the shoulder and she groans a little before opening her eyes. "Elsa come on we're here," I say and she smiles. "Okay." She says and snuggles deeper into her into my neck. "Elsa, Honeymaren come on lets go." I hear Anna call out. "Come on Maren, Anna is very impatient," Elsa says pulling away and getting off of the wagon. I follow and get off the wagon to find myself somewhere in the dark. "Anna where are we? I can't see anything." I hear Elsa say anxiously. I squint and find her standing next to Ryder, I go over to her and take her hand. Even though it's dark I can still see her smile. "Okay, Elsa can you lite it up?" I hear Anna say. Elsa brings her free hand up and she creates bursts of ice that glow. "Wow it beautiful, " I find myself saying as I look around and see that we're in a large field of sunflowers. There are chairs set up on either side of a small isle that leads to a big white arch. "What is this?" I hear Elsa say looking around. We turn and wait for Anna's response. She grabs Kristoff and she smiles. "This is where Kristoff and I are gonna get married." She says and I feel Elsa let go of my hand as she goes over to her sister and gives her a hug. "Anna it's beautiful." I hear Elsa says. "Really?" She asks. "Really." She says smiling. "Yeah Anna it's amazing," I say looking at all the flowers. "Thanks, Honeymaren." She says and I keep looking at the flowers. "Well guys we should probably go back to the castle to get some sleep for tomorrow," Anna says and we all follow back onto the wagon.

I'm laying on my bed playing with Winter, since we had agreed that he'll stay with me tonight, when I hear a small knock on my door. Who's up this late? I get up and open my door to find Elsa standing at my door fighting nervously. "Hey what's u-" I'm cut off by her kissing me. I gently pull her closer by the waist and she puts her arms around my neck. She pulls away and looks down blushing. "I-i couldn't sleep and I wanted to know if maybe you wanted to sleepover?" She says shyly. "I'd love to, "I say and go back into my room. I pick up Winter and follow her back into her room. She gets under the covers and I follow, then pull her close to me. "Hey, Elsa?"
"Yes?"
"Would you like to be my girlfriend?" I ask nervously and she smiles at me. "Yes."
"Really!?" I say excited, and she nods. "Yes!!" I say to myself out loud and she giggles at my reaction. I give her a soft kiss on the lips and snuggle into her warmth and sigh, quickly falling asleep.
