Chapter 15

Elsa's POV

Meow. Meow. Meowwww. I open my eyes and look up to see Winter on my head looking down at me. "Hey Winter," I say and the little kitten tilts his head at me. "Are you hungry?" I ask him and he just stares at me. I chuckle and start to get up when I notice I'm trapped between someones arms. I look to my side and see Honeymaren looking angelic in her sleep. I carefully try to get out of her arms which causes her to tighten her grip around me. I hear her mumble something inaudibly. I sigh and look at Winter who is sitting there watching me struggle. "Well, I guess I'll just have to wake her," I say to him and he stares at me. I put my hand on her shoulder and lightly shake her. "Ry go away let me sleep." She mumbles. I giggle and shake her a little more. This time she slightly opens her eyes then smiles. "Hi." She says smiling with her eyes closed. "Hi. Maren do you mind releasing me I'm going to feed Winter." I say and she quickly lets go of me. "Sorry." She says opening her eyes. "It's okay," I say and start getting out of bed. "Will we train some more today?" I ask her, stretching. I hear her gulp as she stares at me. "Maren?"
"Uhh what?
"I was wondering if we can train some more today?" I ask and she nods. "Alright, we should head down for breakfast so we have plenty of time for you to try and pin me." She says smirking. "I'm sure I'll be able to pin you soon," I say trying to sound confident. "Oh really?" She says sounding amused and I nodded. She slowly starts walking over to me, quickly pins me, and gives me a sultry look. I feel my face start to grow hot at her staring down at me. "Ouch." She says while she jumps up off me. I look down to see that I had accidentally created ice around her leg. "I'm sorry," I say evaporating the ice. "I'm okay." She says giggling while I pout. "Come on let's go get this little guy some food." She says picking up Winter and petting him. "Okay," I say and we both head downstairs.

"So what are you guys gonna do today? Since I'm going to be busy with the council all day." Anna asks as she takes a bite of her food. "Well today I'm going to learn how to harvest ice," Ryder says excitedly and I can see her trying not to laugh. "That sounds great. What about you guys?" She asks, looking at Maren and me.  "Honey is gonna train me some more," I say simply but I look up to see a wide smile on Ryder's face and a slight blush on Marens. "Sounds good just please be back by dinner because I have a surprise." She says happily. "A surprise?" I ask her and she nods. "A surprise."

"Okay Elsa I want you to put one arm under my head and one under my arm." I follow her lead and she shows me how to get out of the position. "Okay now try and get out." I swiftly do as she taught me and she ends up on the floor. "Good job." She says dusting off her pants. "You're a quick learner."
"Thanks."
"Okay, now I want you to try and pin me." She says getting into a fighting position. I get into position and I look for any open spots. I quickly dive for her leg and try to sweep it out from under her. She swiftly avoids my tackle and gets me under her. I pull myself up and she puts me into a headlock. She taught me how to get out. I elbow her in the ribs and quickly twist out from under her arm. She lets out a slight grunt in pain and grabs me pulling me over her shoulder and onto the ground. I quickly slide out from under her and tackle her. She kicks me in the stomach and gets up. I use my arm to push her down and put my legs on either side of her body. I quickly grab her arms and pin them down over her head. She still struggles against me for a while before giving up and we both calm down trying catching our breath.

"G-good job!" She says still breathing heavily from the workout. "T-thanks," I say panting and looking down at her. I roll off of her and we both lay down looking up at the darkening sky. "You did really well today." She says starting to breathe normally. "Thanks."
"Oww." She suddenly says and I turn on my side to see her massaging her ribs. "Let me see," I say and move her hands to reveal her ribs purple and swollen. "Honey I'm so sorry," I say and reach out to touch them. She chuckles. "It's okay. I'm fine." She says trying to get up and grunting slightly. "No no no lay down," I say and gently push her back down. "Let me see," I say and start pulling her shirt off. "If you wanted to see me shirtless all you had to do was ask." She says chuckling. I scowl at her and gently place my hands on her ribs. I slowly start to cool my hands like an ice pack. "Ow. That hurts." She whines. "Shush this will help it hurt less," I say and continue to freeze her ribs slightly. "I'm sorry Maren," I say, looking down. "Hey hey I'm okay." She says and brings my chin up to look at me. "But still I hurt you."
"I'm fine. Now give me a smile." She says goofily. "What?"
"Give me that beautiful smile," she says determined. I give in and smile at her which she returns. "There it is." She says and starts to get up. "Come on we should go before your sister yells at me." She says jokingly. "Okay but we're gonna stop by the medicine room, there's a herb that will help with the swelling and the pain," I say and she nods.

Once we get to the medicine room I make her sit down and grab some herbs and start to rub them on her wound. "Where did you learn this?" She asks as I look around the room for the bandages. "While I was in my room I would get really bored so I'd read," I explain. "Oh I found it," I say walking towards her with the bandages. I gently move the herbs that temporarily numbed her ribs and start to place the bandages. "Okay that should be good," I say and she gets up. "Wow thanks, Snowflake." She says and we start walking towards our rooms. "What's wrong Snowflake?" She says stopping me. "Nothing," I say too quickly. "No, it's not nothing. Tell me Snowflake. What's wrong?" She asks and I sigh? "It's just that I asked you to train me and now you're hurt. Maybe I should sto-" My rants cut off by a pair of lips on my own. I feel myself starting to kiss back when she suddenly pulls away. "I-i'm sorry. I shouldn't have do-" This time I cut her off by kissing her. I pull back and I place my forehead on hers. "Wow."
"Yeah wow." She says. "We should probably hurry so we can get to dinner." She says pulling away. "Oh yeah of course." I say kind of disappointed. As we continue to walk through the castle I feel her grab my hand and I smile at her sweet gesture.

Once we arrived at our rooms I unclasp our hands and walk into my room. Oops forgot something. I quickly run back into the hallway give her a short sweet kiss on the lips and walk away leaving her dazed. I shut the door and flop onto my bed with a huge grin on my face.
