It's Kinda Cold (Elsa X Honeymaren)

Chapter 14

Honeymaren's POV

When they said Elsa was bad at charades I didn't know that she would be this bad. I stifle the laughter as I watch Elsa trying to act out something while Anna was going crazy calling out random words. Ding. "The word was ball," Elsa says. "Dang it. Okay, Honeymaren it's your turn." Anna says excitedly. I pick up the piece of paper with my word on it. Small. Okay easy enough. They should be able to guess it quickly. I put the paper down and start making hand movements as if to show something small. I bend down and put my hand close to the floor. "Oh is it pet?" Elsa says excitedly. I try not to aww at her cute enthusiasm. I nod my head no and bring my thumb and pointed finger close together.  I can see Anna trying not to laugh at her sister, while she was concentrating on trying to guess the word. Anna starts mouthing small over and over again, while Elsa struggles. "Ooo I know little." She says proudly. Aww, she's so close. I'll just give it to her. I nod my head and smile at her. "Finally!" She says grinning. I sit back down as Kristoff takes his turn. I feel something nudge my side and turn to Anna who leans in. "The word was small wasn't it." She whispers. I slowly nod my head and she raises an eyebrow at me but says nothing.
Then Ryder stands up and looks at the word then smirks. He immediately points at me. "Honeymaren?" Elsa says. Ryder keeps pointing at me. "Smart?" She thinks I'm smart. I feel my face flush. "Nice." Ryder keeps pointing at me. "Sweet?" He nods his head no and continues pointing at me. "Pretty" I feel myself go completely red at this point. I can see Ryder grinning at Anna and her scowling. "Cute," SHE THINKS IM CUTE!!, I scream in my head. Ding. "It was brown hair," Ryder says smirking. I glance over at Elsa to see her blushing. I look at her and raise an eyebrow, she quickly turns away. "Okay, my turn." I hear Olaf say as he hops off the couch and looks at his paper. He rearranges himself to look like a reindeer? "Reindeer?" Anna says and Olaf then points at Ryder and Kristoff. "Reindeer Boys?" I guess and Olaf squeals. "Yes!" He says and goes back to the couch. I see Anna go up for her turn but I start to zone out. Does she really think those things about me? I absentmindedly look over at Elsa who has a cute look on her face as she tries to figure out what Anna was doing. She slightly bites her lip and furrows her eyebrows. She's so cute. "Maren!"
"Yes?" I respond to Anna who has her arms crossed. "You zoned out, are you okay?" She asks and I just nod. I see Elsa stand and she starts to make shoving moments. "Push?" I say confused. She shakes her head then points at herself. Time to get her back. "Amazing?" I see her cheeks go red as she shyly shakes her head no. She points at herself the does the shining movements. "Ice powers?" She sighs and shakes her head no. I think for a minute and say, "Magic." She smiles. "Yes." She says and then yawns. "Are you tired?" I ask her. "Yeah."
"Now that I think of it I'm pretty tired too," Ryder says and stretches his arms out yawning. "Okay it's time for bed then," Anna says then stands from the couch. We all went upstairs and into our rooms.

I look down at Winter is standing in front of my door scratching it. "Winter what are you doing?" I ask getting up from the bed. He looks up at meowing and clawing at the door. I quietly open my door and Winter walks into the hallway. He starts sniffing around Ryder's door then Elsa's. He starts to paw at Elsa's bedroom door. "Winter she's sleeping," I whisper to the kitten as he continued to claw and meow at the door. I stand there looking at him before I pick him up and softly knock on the door. "Elsa? Are you awake?" I say. I hear no response and sigh. "See she's sleeping," I say to the kitten when the door slowly opens revealing a messy-haired Elsa. "Honey? What's wrong?" She says sleepily coming towards me reaching for Winter, who purrs at the contact. "Winter wants to stay with you," I say and she frowns slightly handing him back t me. "I don't that's a good idea." She says sadly.
"Why? What's wrong Elsa you know you can talk to me, " I say and she sighs. "I-i sometimes have dreams and when I have those dreams I end up freezing my room over. I'm scared he'll get hurt." She says whispering the last part. I reach out and gently stroke her cheek. "You won't hurt him," I say trying to reassure her. "What if I do?" She says sadness in her eyes. "Well I've slept in your room and I never got hurt." I point out. "That's different Maren."
"How?"
"I-i don't know." She says looking down. "How about I stay with you and show you that you won't hurt him," I say grabbing her chin and pulling it up so she can look at me. "Okay." She barely whispers. I hand her Winter and we go into her room. She places Winter at the edge of the bed and lays down under the covers. She scoots over and I gently get in next to her. I look at her beautiful eyes and I see uncertainty. "It'll be okay," I say and continue to look into her eyes, not even noticing I was falling asleep.

Ryder's POV

I stand up out of my bed and go towards the door. I'm about to open the door when I hear, "See she's sleeping." Maren? I suddenly hear a door open. I hear Elsa and Maren talking. I didn't know Elsa was so scared of her powers, I think to myself before I hear a door close again. I should go check on Maren. I slowly open my door and step out. I go over to Maren's room and see that it's empty. She's probably staying with Elsa. I grin at this thought. I'm so happy for Maren, I like Elsa way better than Sara. I shake that thought away. I'm so gonna win this bet, I think to myself and go back to my room to sleep.
