The door had barely closed behind Win and Laure leaving the apartment. Both Mean and Plan jumped up from the couch immediately, as if they hadn't been comfortable as they were before, cuddled up to each other.
Plan gladly let himself get dragged to their room. His heart was beating unusually fast, when Mean pushed him against the closing door. Something at the back of his mind even noticed that Mean was turning the key, making sure that they couldn't be interrupted by an unexpectedly returning Win.
One interruption per day was more than enough.
As Mean leaned down to kiss him hungrily, Plan was reminded of the strikingly similar position he had found himself in this morning, in the corner behind the ancient cannons outside, when it had seemed like there were no other people in the world but them... and Win.
Now, finally, Win wasn't here anymore.
Ah, Plan had wanted to be alone and undisturbed with Mean practically since they had left the house in Bangkok... it felt like ages ago, even though he could still feel a remnant of soreness in his lower body.
Plan relaxed, and let himself get pulled deeper into the kiss.
The elevated heartbeat didn't feel uncomfortable anymore.
It was hot.
Finally.
He had been nervous and on edge all day, and probably all night even in his deep, dreamless sleep.
Finally, there was an outlet.
Without ever slowing down or breaking the kiss, he automatically started to fumble for the hems of Mean's sweater, and pulled it over his head along with his undershirt, only breaking the kiss long enough to get it out of the way.
He barely noticed that his own sweater had gone the same way as Mean's moments later – he probably wouldn't have noticed at all, if the cool air of the room wasn't such a contrast to the heat of both of their bodies.
"I missed this," he said softly, when Mean had retreated just a little bit. "I missed you."
He had wanted this so much that he had even gotten carried away this morning; while Win was in the room.
Reckless.
Now, there was nothing at all holding them back anymore, and Plan determinedly pulled Mean into another passionate kiss.
It took him a while of getting lost in the heat to realise that Mean was retreating, that he didn't feel fully invested in the kiss anymore – but when Plan finally caught on, he leaned back against the door, slowly letting go of Mean's lips.
Mean immediately leaned in to hug him, so tightly that it felt more like being trapped against the door. Mean buried his head into the crook of Plan's neck, but contrary to what Plan had hoped, he didn't continue by kissing his neck.
"Shh, Mean," he said. "You're suffocating me."
Thankfully, Mean moved back just enough to let Plan breathe, but something still felt off.
Plan helplessly patted his back. It shouldn't have surprised him that Mean wasn't entirely himself. He had just found out that the annoying Black Hand leader that had chased them for the last few months, was actually his cousin... and everything else this discovery carried with it.
"I've missed you, too," Mean said, echoing Plan's own words from before. "I've missed you so much. I'm happy you are here with me now."
Likewise, Plan thought, but didn't say it.
