"Are you sure we won't miss the flight?"

Plan shifted nervously, while he sat in the back of Mean's car, waiting for his boyfriend to come back from the house.

"Don't worry," Tio answered from behind the wheel, ready to drive off again. He seemed oddly relaxed despite the delay. "We have already checked you in, and you'll get to go through the fast lane for the baggage drop and the security check. We're still early. There's plenty of time."

A sceptical glance sideways to Win sitting next to him told Plan that his friend was tense, too.

How could Mean let this happen?

After last night had worked wonders for his nerves, and he had slept like a baby, Plan really hadn't expected to be annoyed with his boyfriend of all people.

But...

He groaned at the mere memory of the morning so far.

They had woken up with plenty of time to spare, and they had both needed it just to get out of bed with their sore bodies. Still, Plan had managed to keep his nerves in check. They had finished breakfast quickly and had already been waiting in front of the house when Tio had returned from fetching Win.

Then, after about ten minutes of driving, Mean had suddenly noticed that he had forgotten his passport at home.

How in the world could anyone forget something as important as a passport? The only thing you really needed to travel abroad?

Plan was sure that he would be able to tease Mean about it later, when the entire situation would hopefully be nothing more than a funny story. But right now, he wasn't laughing.

So, Tio had turned the car around at the next junction, and here they were, waiting for Mean to find the document in the house and come back.

Plan should have insisted that Mean packed his bags last night, too. It was probably partly his fault... he had asked Mean to distract him, and they had spent the better part of the evening distracting each other in different positions on the floor and on the bed, until they were both sore and blissfully exhausted.

And the worst thing was... maybe not the worst, but certainly up there... Win seemed to be able to guess exactly what had gone down between Mean and him.

"Shhh, Plan," he whispered, when he spotted Mean running down the stairs with just a hint of awkwardness in his movements. "How naughty have you been last night? Did you fuck his brains out?"

Just as he said that last part, Mean opened the door on the passenger side.

"I heard that," he said.

At first, Plan wanted to look away in second-hand embarrassment. Why did Win have to be so damn forward?

But then, Plan caught Mean's satisfied smirk and he relaxed.

"What if I said he did?" Mean answered, kneeling onto the passenger seat and wrapping his arms around the headrest to smile suggestively at Win.

Tio wordlessly started the engine and drove towards the gate, not bothering to tell Mean to sit down properly first. Plan would have to make sure to thank him. Tio seemed the only level-headed person in the car right now.

"If you're so interested in our private life," Mean's eyes showed a mischievous glint as he continued. "Why don't you tell us about yours, too? Quid pro quo. Did you finally get laid by that mysterious guy you're seeing?"

Plan didn't know what he had expected in this situation. He was way too nervous about the flight, anyway. But maybe it shouldn't surprise him that Win didn't even blush at Mean's question. He merely smirked back mysteriously, not really answering one way or the other.
