Well that plan was a failure. You would think stealing Chan's journal only to return it after chasing after him while Jisung and him were walking, thus creating the opportunity to walk with them, would provide the perfect excuse to talk to Jisung about seeing him outside the studio door the other day. Unfortunately that would be wrong as I couldn't even work up the guts to say a single word the entire time.
I don't know why I wanted to talk to him about it so bad. I mean I stole Chan's journal for Christ's sake, what was going on with me.

Chan helped a lot with my assignment and so did Changbin but he just so happened to be working on his own project so he had to multitask between my work and his own, but I really didn't mind. I actually got a lot of good feedback. Chan was really good at being constructive without having to hurt people's feelings, it was a good trait of his. However I was jealous of all his knowledge and skills. I mean in all honesty Chan was well above his age in skill.
I still had to fix up a couple things on my melody but halfway through Chan tapped my shoulder.
"Hey, me and Changbin have to head out but your free to stay and do your thing, the receptionist will close up after anyway." I gave a weak smile, nodding as I wanted to get back to my work as quickly as possible.
"No worries, I'm gonna stay a bit longer. Thanks alot for your help though." Chan chuckled giving him another smile as him and Chanbin left, leaving Jisung in the studio, alone.
An hour passed by quicker then expected, it was already six forty. Jisung looked up from his lyric sheet only to see it was already black outside. Oh god.
He quickly packed up his things and shoved them into his bag. He walked towards the door, his feet moving a bit faster then usual.
He stepped outside only to realise, he had made a big mistake. The sky was nothing but black, excluding the small specs of light that became stars in the vast night sky. What was he thinking? Staying here by himself. He was way to scared to go home in the dark, especially alone.
And so minutes passed as Jisung stood on the concrete path just outside the studio building. He had no plan. He just hoped it would be day soon. What? It was only an eleven hour wait.
-
Minho huffed finishing his last practice, he would sure sleep tonight. He gathered his belongings checking a couple times that he didn't leave anything behind, not that it would make a difference, he'd be coming back tomorrow anyway. He passed the receptionist and as he did she called out to him.
Minho turned his head towards her. "Yes?"
"Uh, there's a...boy outside. He came in with Chan and you but he's been standing there alone for twenty minutes." The lady pointed out the glass doors to a boy who looked like his life was falling apart, not to say that it wasn't.
"Jisung? You have to be kidding me." Minho whispered to himself, trying to pretend he was surprised. "Yeah I'll handle it, thank you." With that Minho left. He opened the doors as he looked towards Jisung. Suddenly Jisung looked anywhere but at Minho. The trees, the sky, the stars, the path, not Minho, still not Minho, please not Minho.
"So, you're still afraid of the dark?" Jisung jumped at his 'sudden' words.
"Wha- Am not!" Minho rolled his eyes. He knew for a fact Jisung wasn't standing here for fun, so really, that was the only logical explanation, given Minho has seen in multiple school camps and out of the blue school power outages that Jisung was in fact, afraid of the dark.
"Ok then. I'll just leave." Jisung fidgeted. He was scared. He was terrified. He had no choice.
"Minho wait!" Minho turned to Jisung. Waiting for him to speak, although he already knew what he was going to ask.
"I am afraid, ok? Don't make fun of me or I will beat you to death." Minho found it very hard not to make fun of Jisung but for the sake of Jisung's well-being at this current moment, he didn't.
"I won't. How far away do you live?" Jisung looked out onto the streets as if to look at his house.
"I don't know like, ten minutes that way." Minho contemplated in his head. Was he really about to go ten minutes out of his way for Jisung.
"Ok c'mon." Jisung furrowed his brows. Did Minho just offer to walk him home?
"Wait do you mean-" Minho turned back with a glare. Jisung took that as a yes and bitterly stumbled to his side.
The walk was quiet, then again it's not like they suddenly became friends. Minho was simply doing this for his own benefit, of course there was no sure way of telling what that benefit was exactly but surely he couldn't be doing it for Jisung's sake, there's no way. The path was getting boring to stare at during this part in the walk. It had only been about three minutes but it couldn't be more awkward between the two of them. This would be the perfect time to ask Jisung about the other day.
"So, you're friends with Chan and Changbin now?" Jisung wasn't really sure how to answer. He didn't quite know if they were friends. They hung out, and ate lunch together that stimeomes, so I guess, in one way or another, they were friends.
"Uh yeah, I guess. We're not exactly besties or anything though." Minho nodded as if to understand or agree to his statement.
"I'm guessing you produce music then?" Another question Jisung was supposed to answer.
"Well yeah, it's all I do." Minho would be lying if he didn't find the happiness on Jisung's face as he spoke, a little endearing.
"You mean other than piss me off?" Jisung let his eyes flick around in a circle at Minho's insult.
"Whatever. I just like music." Jisung rephrased.
"Me too. I prefer dancing though, I don't produce."
"Yeah I saw- uh, I mean- wow really?" Minho squinted his eyes at Jisung's stutters before he just sighed.
"I know you saw me. You were standing right outside the door." Jisung's face went red. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. It's ok Jisung, get yourself together.
"What, no t-that wasn't me. I swear." Minho laughed a little as he took in a breath of the night air. Jisung's attempt at lying wasn't exactly convincing.
"I don't mind. I mean, I'm guessing you were only watching because you haven't really seen someone dance up close and wanted to see what it was like, no?" Jisung looked away, as if he was contemplating his response.
"Uh, yeah, that's why." Jisung looked a little saddened at his own answer as if he felt guilty for even watching in the first place.
Suddenly Jisung glanced up to see they had reached the end of their walk.
"Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Jisung said, surprisingly, without a single bitter tone. However Minho nodded with a slight scoff towards Jisung.
"Oh and Jisung?" Jisung stopped on the steps to his front door turning back to hear what Minho had to say. "You owe me one asshole." Minho turned away with a plain expression left on his face. Jisung couldn't help but laugh at his childish words but he agreed to 'owe him one' anyway and headed straight for his bed.
