This was it. Today I was handing in my music assignment. I didnt really get much of a chance to do a final look over it. After the events of yesterday and how absolutely exhausted I was when I got home, I just didn't bother. But in all honesty I think it was perfect, well perfect enough. I'm not too sure why I had grown so attached to the song. Whether it was the meaning or the reason or maybe I just found it catchy, but somehow it seemed to stick with me. I was so anxious to hand it in. As a first assignment it shouldn't be a big deal but for some reason it felt like the biggest deal.

I walked into the classroom seeing Felix's glowing face in his usual spot. I flicked my head down, making my way over to him.

"Morning!" I found his voice relieving after having been stressed about the assignment. Though the anxiety hadn't disappeared just yet, as much as I loved it and as much as Chan helped me perfect my song, I was scared it wasn't good enough.

"Are you as stressed as I am?" I asked. Felix looked confused at first. Squeezing his features together. But then his face relaxed as he realised what I meant.

"No, Mrs Guk is always super nice. Don't worry about it. You'll do fine, trust me." I nodded. Although Felix's words were very kind, it couldn't rid the pit that formed in my stomach.

"Good morning! Let's get straight into it shall we? So, who's first?" Mrs Guk stood at the front of the room waiting for volunteers. A series of students raised their hands. Mrs Guk scanned the room and quickly picked a hand.

A young girl with long dark hair moved to the front of the room. She had quite a pretty face. The girl briefly explained her song before she began to sing. She had a very soothing voice, like honey. Her singing was soft yet powerful and when she sang, the only thing you could focus on was her.

Once her song was done everybody clapped, impressed by her performance.

Mrs Guk then asked for a raise of hands once again and chose a boy in the second row. His hair was bleached blonde though he mustn't have dyed it recently as the dark roots were clear on the top of his head.

He carried a guitar in his hand, an acoustic one. He stood in front of the microphone that was set up in the space at the front of the class and got ready to perform.

Once again he was very talented. The way his fingers effortlessly strummed the cords to make the perfect sounds. His voice was nice too but his performance was over quicker then expected. Nevertheless the class clapped, once again.

The teacher continued to call up students one after another. They were all amazing. Some better than others but the increasing dread of having to do it myself wasn't pleasant.

Then it was Minho's turn.

To be honest I had forgotten he was in this class. He doesn't seem to bother me in music, so I guess I didn't take note of him as much. He walked up to the front, looking fairly confident. He didn't waste a lot of time as he started playing the music. It didn't take long for him to begin singing as he closed his eyes.

Minho was just full of surprises. First reading, then the dancing, now this?

His voice was beautiful. It was soft and light like feathers yet it could also be powerful during the choruses. His face expressed the emotion, along with his voice, making it as though you were feeling what he felt and what the song's meaning really was. I would have never expected Minho to have a voice like that, not in a million years, yet here I was listening to him in awe.

The class clapped but I was so lost in the moment that I just sat there. He walked back to his seat without another word as I still hadn't moved, astounded by him.

It was then Felix's turn. I quickly flinched out of my mini crisis and back to the actual class. I was honestly curious as to what Felix would do. Felix had a deep voice which could be used in lots of ways and I was interested in what was to come.

He played the track. A sort of edm, R&B version of the assigned music. He then started rapping. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't rapping. He was good at it though. His deep voice was so powerful. I'm not sure if he wrote the lyrics but they were beautiful. It was crazy how quickly he could go from being so bright and happy to being so powerful and frankly a little scary, in a good way.

After he was done I clapped along with the rest of the class. He really deserved an applause, his performance was beyond impressive.

"Wow, Felix I had no idea you could rap like that." Felix's toothy grin shone through as the implied compliment reached his ears.

"Yeah a lot of people say that. Chan told me you rap too, but he said you're also good at singing. Speaking of, I think you're next." I looked to the front and Mrs Guk was in fact looking to me.

"Jisung, how about you?" I looked down at the sheet I was holding. I knew all the lyrics by heart, yet I felt as though everything I had practiced was thrown out the window and I was left with a blank mind. Felix patted my back, encouraging me to go. I took a breath and made my way to the front.

Standing in front of everyone was pretty nerve wrecking. All of those eyes on me was dreadful. My hands shook. I looked to my sheet but I felt as though I could barely read the words I had written. The writing becoming black smudges of ink over the white sheet. My hands shook more and more. My eyes wavered over the blurry page.

Suddenly I looked up and our eyes met.
