Next thing Jisung knew, him and Minho were on the Lee family's door step. Jisung just held the straps of his bag as Minho turned the key, opening the door. As soon as they were inside Jisung noticed a tall woman in what he assumed to be the kitchen.

"Hey, I'm home." The lady turned away from her laptop on the counter to see her son.

"Hey! Oh you brought a friend! Nice to see you're friends with people that aren't Hyunjin." Minho rolled his eyes at the name, a ripple of jealousy went over Jisung.

The lady then walked over to the two boys at the door, greeting them properly.

"Hi, I'm Minho's mother." Of course Jisung shook her hand with a bow and a awkward smile.

"I'm Jisung." Suddenly her face went a little pale. Jisung then stood up straight, worrying he had done something wrong.

"Jisung? As in-"

"Yes Mum that Jisung, can we go now?" Minho quickly pulled Jisung up the stairs to his room, Minho didn't want to have to hear his mother's shock and endless questions.

Up in Minho's room, Jisung couldn't help but ask his own questions. "Why did your Mum look at me like that? Did I say something weird?" Minho laughed and shook his head.

"I hated you since I was young, obviously I went home and complained whenever I could. She was just shocked to see someone I bad mouthed for so long come home with me." Jisung looked at the floor. He shouldn't be surprised Minho bad mouthed him but it still made him a bit upset.

"Bad mouthed?" He let the words slip. He just wanted to know how badly Minho had mouthed.

"Oh come on, don't act surprised. It's not like you don't go home and tell your parents how much of a dickhead I am." Jisung sort of felt his heart fall. He didn't. He didn't talk to his parents about many of his problems. Minho noticed his mood fall and realised he must of said something wrong.

"Uh, we should get started." Jisung nodded quickly as Minho grabbed some things from his school bag.

They worked for awhile. Jisung had felt the burden of the work hit him as soon as he was told what they had to do. This was going to take forever. The teacher really had it out for them.

The work was mostly quiet, their focus occupying them. Though every now and then Minho would make a teasing comment, whether it be about Jisung's handwriting, or the way he was sitting, or the way his tongue seemed to always slip out from his mouth as he worked extra hard.

"You're doing it againnn." Minho chuckled giving Jisung a teasing stare.

"What? Again?! Damnit, stupid tongue." The smile wouldn't leave Minho's face. Why was he enjoying this so much? He had always loved teasing Jisung, he had just always thought of it as an act of hate, until now. Now that they were friends, the teasing was almost...flirty. Minho was like that with all his friends though, sort of...it didn't mean anything!

Once it reached six o'clock they decided to call it a day. They had school tomorrow so they couldn't stay too late. There wasn't much for goodbyes, only tiresome waves. But even if neither of them wanted to admit it, it was kind of fun.

The next day was just as awkward as the last. Hyunjin hadn't shown up and Minho and Jisung had kept mostly silent, not knowing how to start conversation. However, when Wednesday came around the three boys found themselves sitting in front of the principals desk.

"So, I heard about the 'issue' you had on Monday. What's going on between you three?" Jisung and Minho shared looks briefly, checking if the other had any idea how to explain. After a bit of silence Mr Park decided he clearly wasn't getting an answer out of them.

"Ok...well if you're not willing to tell me, then maybe you can sort it out yourselves. I'm going to leave the room and by the time first period is over I hope you have come to some sort of agreement. As I've said a million times before, I will not tolerate violence." They all watched the principal close the door behind him. Leaving Minho, Hyunjin and Jisung, alone.

For a few minutes none of them said anything. All of them planning to wait it out and pretend they had worked things out. That plan was working out until Hyunjin became impatient.

"I'm not sitting in a room with you, this isn't helping anyone." Hyunjin pulled himself out of the seat and started towards the door.

"Where are you going? You can't just leave, that's not gonna fix anything." Minho didn't really want to deal with this any more than Hyunjin did but at the same time, he knew he couldn't go the rest of high school ignoring Hyunjin.

"Alright, fine. What do you want to say then?" Hyunjin folded his arms thinking Minho was going to stay silent, to his surprise it was almost as if Minho had already planned what to say.

"I think I understand you have feelings for me, as more than a friend, a-and that's fine. But you can't take it out on me, and you definetely can't take it out on Jisung, if I don't feel the same." Minho could see the expression on Hyunjin's face shift a little. Hyunjin finally heard Minho say it. As much as he knew Minho thought of him as a friend, it only hurt more to here him say it out loud.

At first Hyunjin was angrier but then he let his folded arms fall to his sides. Jisung was feeling like a third wheel, silently watching the two talk.

"I know. I'm sorry. I was just so caught up in being jealous that I wasn't thinking straight." Minho gave Hyunjin an honest look, but he had to make sure Hyunjin fully understood before he comforted him.

"You can say sorry to me, but you also need to apologise to Jisung. It's not okay to hit someone like that, even if you're angry." Hyunjin knew Minho was right.

Jisung stood up as Hyunjin approached him. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do in this situation.

"Jisung, I-I'm sorry that I hurt you. I was being selfish, I should have never done what I did." Before Jisung could even breathe a word Hyunjin pulled him into a hug. Jisung was a little taken aback at first and didn't register, but once he did he awkwardly let his hands rest on Hyunjin's back, returning the hug.

The moment was nice. Then he felt Hyunjin whisper into his ear, knowing only Jisung could hear.

"I should be happy he found someone to give his heart to." Those quiet words immediately sunk in to Jisung, almost as if every letter was being imprinted in his brain.

As Hyunjin pulled away from the hug, leaving Jisung dumbfounded, he gave a disheartened smile.

"I hope you're happy together." Minho had heard what was said this time.

"Wait Hyunjin, we're not-" Hyunjin just let out a sad laugh.

"Minho, it's okay. I'm not going to lose feelings just like that but as you're best friend, well I hope as your best friend, I think I can manage to be happy for you." Minho didn't even know what to say. What was Jisung going to think about this? Well let me tell you.

Jisung's cheeks were red as he tried to stay calm. His heart was beating fast, faster than it ever had. Just a glance at Minho made him feel crazy. Of course he was coming to terms with liking Minho but it seemed now that Hyunjin had inferred they were a couple, he realised what liking someone really means. Wanting to be with them. Wanting to hold their hand. Wanting to kiss them.

Hyunjin left the room, perhaps forgetting the principal was going to come check on them at the end of the first class. Jisung and Minho stood in the principals office, a silence falling in the room once again.

Minho seemed to be a little flustered as well as his breathing was staggered and he scratched at the back of his neck with a nervous grin that seemed forced.

"W-we're just friends."
