|Song: All The King's Men by The Rigs|

"Renegade, you have a visitor!" The guard shouted. Renegade got up and waited as the guard handcuffed his hands. And they walked outside the cell.

It was his fourth day in the ward and none of the prisoners have attempted to do anything yet.

If you asked Renegade, it was the calm before the storm. Because he knew none of the prisoners would  just magically stop hating him.

Renegade double-crossed the half of the prisoners in Belle Reve. And killed the associates or siblings of the other half.

He was never talented in becoming friends with anyone  and the crime world of Gotham was included. Of course, Renegade knew that he had to become friends with some of the villians like the Joker, Ivy, Harley or Bane. But these guys in prison, well they weren't exactly in Renegade's friend list.

They came into the visitor room and Renegade sat on the chair and waited, meanwhile the guard chained his ankles to the floor.

A familiar red head came into the room and sat in front of him, just on the different side of the glass.

"Hey." Roy said as he grabbed the phone.

Renegade did the same and just nodded in response.

Roy started talking about the normal stuff that happened to him, how Wally nearly screwed up on a mission or how Megan accidently poured a full glass of milk from Conner's head while trying to teach him how to cook.

Normally, Renegade would have an uninterested look on his face and make some sassy comments on how idiot the team is.

If he was in a bad mood, he would just nod and sigh at the things Roy told him and their conversation would end up with Renegade telling Roy to fuck off.

But not today.

Renegade seemed off the world during the whole conversation. And he also seemed worried?

"What's wrong?" Roy asked as he noticed that something was off about Renegade.

Renegade didn't answer for a second. He didn't know what to say. He didn't even know if he should talk or not. He never talked about the life in prison with Roy. You know what, screw it. Renegade thought.

"I am so fuckin going to die." Renegade said quietly.

Roy nearly choked.

"What?!" He shouted, causing some eyes in the room to turn in their direction.

"They took me to the man's ward. And I don't seem to be BFFs with the other prisoners."

"You mean-" Roy said but he was cut off by Renegade.

"It's like Prison Break in there and I am Micheal fuckin Scofield!"

"But you are... you are a good fighter right?" Roy asked.

"I mean, you fought with the whole Justice League and the Young Justice all by yourself." Roy said with hope.

"Yeah. And I lost."

"But you fought them. You also fought Deathstroke. You can manage a couple of punks." Roy said.

"Yeah, the problem is, they are a hell lot more than a couple. And I can't be said to be in my best shape." Renegade said.

"Visiting time's over!" One of the guards shouted.

Renegade slowly got up as one of the guards untied the chains on his ankle and another one held a gun to his head.

Roy looked at the gun with pity for a second and sighed.

"Just take care, okay?"

"Yeah yeah. Now fuck off." Renegade said and grinned.

Roy chuckled. He got up and showed his middle finger before turning back and leave. And the guard motioned Renegade to move.

They were walking back to the cell when Renegade sensed something off.

It was all quiet.

And it was definitely not normal for a prison.

"Wait here." The guard said and turned to leave.

"So you sold me out." Renegade said quietly.

"What?" The guard asked, shocked.

"I wonder, how much did they pay?" Renegade asked curiously.

"A lot." A voice from the back of the room said: Penguin.

Shit.

Above all the villians, Penguin was the one Renegade double-crossed the best.

It was two years ago. Renegade just managed to escape from the claw of the League and the Light. He was a free man after a long time and he was alao alone. So he needed to do something to make a name for himself. Something big.

So he went after penguin and his money.

They did a deal, there was an important shipment coming and penguin hired Renegade to protect it. Renegade then became 'allies' with penguin. And penguin started trusting him with more important shipments.

Until one day, Renegade gave the penguin a wrong tip. Penguin trusted Renegade and went after the tip while Renegade attacked the shipment he was supposed to protect and stole it.

This gave a reputation to Renegade. People understood that he was no joke and he was cold hearted. This made him grow closer to the 'important villians'.

"But..." Penguin said and pulled out a small device.

"It's really nothing compared to how much I paid for this." He coldly said and pushed the button on the top.

Renegade felt the electricity running through his body and fell to the ground.

The device that activates his collar. Seriously?
