|Song: Run Boy Run by Woodkid|

Renegade understood when he lost. It didn't make it any easier but he understood.

He was running in the halls of the prison, which was totally empty except for the cells, no guards.

Coincidence?

Absolutely not.

Prisoners were shouting at him, pleading for him to free them, but Renegade didn't stop.

He was trying to listen and remember the way out of the prison. The facts that he only had a stupid nail as a weapon and all the prisoners shouting, making it really hard to listen for potential threats, were not helping.

He kept running and...

Wait.

I remember this place.

This is the road between his old cell and the ward. So if he went for 3 more meters and turn left he would be in his old cell. Which means if he turned back and ran for 4 meters, turn right and 4 more meters and...yes.

The elevator!

"C'mon c'mon c'mon!" Renegade murmured while he repeatedly pushed the button.

The sound of people running and footsteps echoing through the corridores became louder and louder.

The elevator came down and the doors slowly started to open.

"Finally..."

The doors of the elevator fully opened.

"AW C'MON!" Renegade shouted.

"We've been watching you Grey Son of Gotham. And it's time for you to return home." William Cobb said and stepped out of the elevator.

"Yeah. Hard pass." Renegade said.

"It wasn't a question." William Cobb said.

And with that said, a dozen of Owls appeared in the room.

"You can't run away Richard." William Cobb said.

"Doesn't mean I won't try." Renegade said and turned back, started to run again.

He came infront of a door and kicked it open.

Stairs.

He started climbing up the stairs. The floors didn't have numbers on them but he knew he was in the minus 33. Floor. So 33 floors to climb.

He could hear the footsteps of the Owls following him. His breath became louder and louder. He was tired and hurt but that didn't matter right now. He just needed to GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!

10 more floors

4 more floors

1 more floor

YES!

Renegade slowly opened the door, trying not to make any sounds and closed it. He saw the receptionist desk and pushed it to the front of the door.

Allright Renegade, think.

He tried to remember the way he came here.

He saw the elevator was 9 meters away on his right and its doors was opening.

Shit.

The Owls started kicking the door of the stairs and the desk Renegade just put infront of the door started moving.

Allright, run!

Renegade ran for 6 meters straight and turned right. He sprinted for 14 meters and saw the Owls and his beloved grandfather running at him.

He turned left and saw the beautiful spark of the sunlight.

I fuckin made it.

Renegade ran outside and breathed in. He was fuckin free.

Then he heard the footsteps behind him and turned back. A small army of Owls was behind him inside the building.

Nope. Talked too soon.

Renegade remembered the way he came here. First keep running for 13 meters and turn right. He was infront of the laundry.

Then run for 20 meters and-

Shit!

A big knife embedded itself to Renegade's leg.

He turned back to see his grandfather 5 meters away from him, smiling.

"No reaction?" William asked, examining his grandson's face.

"You will make the perfect Talon Richard."

Renegade just grabbed the knife and pulled it out.

"Again, hard pass. Thanks for the weapon though." Renegade said smirking and threw the knife at the closest Owl's head.

Renegade turned around to run again but he fell to the ground.

"Ugh!" Renegade grunted and looked at the wound on his leg.

Some kind of green liquid was on the wound: Poison.

"What was that? I knew that even you would find it hard not to show pain." William Cobb taunted.

Renegade clenched his fists and bit his tongue but it was like every inch of his body was on fire. He tried to get up but his vision blurred and his head ached like it was about to explode.

Renegade fell back to the ground again but gained the control of his facial expressions. He slowly erased the emotion of pain from his face.

"Good. You have improved your skills since the last time we met." William Cobb said, approaching to Renegade.

He crouched next to Renegade who managed to get on his knees and was facing the ground. Cobb pulled out a syringe with more green liquid inside.

"You are the worst grandfather ever."
