Here you guys go, what you've been asking for so long which is fluff (or kind of, dunno🤭)
-The third day of the camp-
The clock showed me that it was almost midnight but somehow, I still can't fall asleep. I'm tired, I do, but I don't know why my mind just won't take a rest. The cabin also a tad bit too hot for my liking, so it's not helping either.
I want to walk around, exploring a bit or whatever, but it is a forest. And if I got lost, that wouldn't be fun. If someone was there to save the night, well then that's great, but if nah? I'm dead. But I was so bored and I just can't stay here any longer. I sighed heavily, deciding to take a lil risk and wander around a bit. I hopped off of my bunk, swiftly putting my white converse one and tip-toeing towards the cabin's door. I opened it slowly trying my best to not disturb the other. Turns out, it wasn't that hard.
Now, which way that I should take?
I looked to my right, then to my left, and everything is the same; dark, quiet, and full of trees. The only sources of lights that help me to at least not face planted are just those candles that glued on the cabin door.I grabbed my torch and turn it on to accompany me on this journey. Don't ask me about where am I going, I don't even know that myself so I just let my feet carried me away.
Turns out, I almost got lost. No, scratch that, I actually got lost. Remembering the research on Google about 'what to do when you're lost in the woods', I turn on my torch and switch it into SOS mode before facing it to the sky, kicking the pebbles around me as I waited patiently. No, actually I'm not in any stage of being patient here, I'm a bit nervous and the panic slowly raise but I need to act cool so I just kick them to ease my nerves.
I was too busy with my mind and the pebbles until I didn't even notice someone approaching me. Well, not until their fingers grabbed my chin and turned my face to face them.
"What are you doing here?"
"Reece?"
"Yes, George, it's me, Reece. But what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in the cabin, sleeping or something?" I looked down in embarrassment, feeling my cheeks slowly heating up.
"I was bored" I mumbled out quietly.
"Then?"
"I took a walk and ended up getting lost"
"At almost midnight and in the middle of the forest?" He asked. I nodded my head shamefully.
"Oh my god. Well, c'mon then!"
"Uh?"
"Let's go to my tent."
"Won't I bother the others?"
"Nah, you'll be fine. Each medic team's member got their own tent, so you won't bother anybody. Now, c'mon! It's a bit chilly out here" He offered his hand and I gladly took it in mine. We walked side by side to the other side of the forest, hands still intertwined even though I already loosen my grips. His fingers locked mine and I'm savouring every second of it, soz not soz tho.
"Take your shoes off, please. I don't want any dirt in the tent" Reece ordered gently. Without even saying a thing, I'm already halfway done untying my shoelace. I looked up at him innocently, making his chuckled cutely. I got inside the tent, sitting near the sleeping bag with my knees pulled to my chest. He left the zipper wide open, before taking a seat beside me, making sure to make our shoulder pressed to one another.
"Is this alright?" He asked, gesturing between our non-existent distant. Did he seriously ask me that after holding my hand all the way from in the middle of nowhere until here?
