We've been texting non-stop since the date two days ago and I can't be happier. George is, indeed as perfect as the George that I made up that time, but he's even much better now because he's real and lives so close to me instead of thousand miles away.
I was currently driving towards his house this fine Monday morning. Today's his first day at Kingsbury and also my first time being seen with my boyfriend. I told him during our texting time that people also called me a liar for never showing a picture of my boyfriend and making excuses, so he asked me if he could come over and I obviously said 'yes', he said he want to cuddles and stuff and who am I to deny it?
But what I didn't know that time was, when I went to the bathroom, he took a selfie with my phone and go to my insta to rant and defend myself and basically slapped all those people with some senses. I found out later that night after he got a call from his mum and decided to go back home and I can't help but smile so bright and rapidly thanked him for what he did.
I got lots of DM's from that story he made and even my friends and best friends also bombarding me with questions on WhatsApp. I only replied to my friends and best friends though because I found it so bloody off and annoying that people suddenly care about my life, congratulating me, saying lots of kind things and even some overly sweet apologies that seem so goddamn fake instead of genuine.
I parked my car in George's driveway, unlocking the door and went towards his door. I knocked loudly but still politely on the door, waiting patiently for it to be opened.
"Good Morning, are you the Reecey boy that my boy keeps talking about?" A kind lady asked.
"Morning, Ma'am, I think that would be indeed me. That was so nice of him to mention me to you guys"
"You're so polite and such a gentleman, I approve!"
"Thank you, your blessing on us means a lot for me and I'm sure it is too for him"
"Come on in, young lad. He's still upstairs getting ready and all" I trailed behind the kind lady that I assumed is George's mum and sat down in the kitchen stool as he motioned me to do so.
"Do you want some breakfast, dear?"
"No, ma'am. I've had mine at home, but thank you though"
"Just call me Natasha, please"
"Alright then, Natasha," I said, tasting the name on my tongue. It rolled off a bit strangely from me since I've never addressed someone else's mum by their name (Blake's and my best friend mothers' excluded).
"I'll call George to hurry up," She said then disappeared to another room. I sat there awkwardly, looking at my surrounding and silently taking a mental note, just in case.
"Sorry I took so long, my hair just won't stay at its place today," A voice like honey said, snapping me from my focus. I smiled at him, which he instantly returns before he circled around me and gave my cheek a chaste kiss.
"Morning, Reecey"
"Morning, love! How was your sleep?"
"It was great. But I'm sorry about posting that story without your knowledge, I couldn't help myself and I just really want them to stop being such dumb bitches, so yeah... But I realised that it was so impolite of me to intrude your privacy like that and took advantage of your absent"
"It's alright, I actually am really grateful for what you did last night. And no, George, you're my boyfriend, you're not intruding anything, that's totally fine though a fair warning would be nice next time" I said, smiling genuinely at him. He still looked a bit hesitant, so I got up from my seat and hugged his smaller figure.
