KAPC chap.5

I was awoken by the sounds of the door being opened and then closed. I peek through my heavy eyelids, catching Reece appearance as he slowly walked towards me.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"Do you feel hungry? I bought a Chinese"

"You don't have to do these all, you know"

"Well as I said, I don't have to but I want to. Now c'mon, sit up and let's eat"

"Why are you so nice to me? It surely not just because your sister, or is it?" I couldn't help but wonder out loud. I saw Reece blushed from my words, which made me even more confused.

"Well, that is half of the fact actually"

"And the other half is?"

"You're that blonde kid from King David, aren't you? The one that always sat alone at the corner of the library"

"Ho... how could you know I went to King David?"

"I've watched you for so long, you know. I never expected our first meeting would be you calling for help to the wrong number, but I'm glad it was me instead of that friend of yours"

"You went to King David?"

"Yupp, two years above you"

"You were that senior that help me that day aren't you?"

"Too much 'that' in your sentence, but yeah, it was me. The pond incident, was it not?"

"Oh my god, I can't believe that we meet again. I've never thanked you for that so thank you"

"No biggie. What actually happened that day anyway?"

"Some jocks bullied me for my sexuality and choose to push me into the pond"

"That sucks"

"I know, but I'm free now and far, far away from them."

"Yeah, that's great anyway"

"How do you still remember me?" I asked again.

"As I said, I've watched you for so long. I just couldn't get your face out of my head I think"

"Why don't you just approach me back then?"

"You were either too busy with your books or you look in some deep focus with your homework, I don't want to be a bother"

"Oh..."

"What about you? How you could still remember me, I mean..."

"Oh please, like I anyone can even forget that pretty green eyes of yours, that's pretty easy to remember"

"Pretty green eyes, aye?" He wiggled his eyebrows at me, making me realised what I just said.

"I uh, no... I mean yeah, but uh..."

"Yours not so bad either, it was quite mesmerizing if I may say" He cut me off quickly, flashing me his dimply smile. I looked down to hide my blush but seem like he still noticed it since he chuckled softly.

"Now, enough about that, let's eat!"

"Yes, Sir!" I jokingly said. I saw Reece tensed up before he composed himself again. I burst out laughing at his not-so-subtle move, making him blush a deep red.

"Seriously? You were all fine when someone else calling you that but when I call you that you tensed up?"

"Shut up, it just... took me off guard"
