We once again plummeted through the vast array of clouds. I was getting used to the nauseating feeling by now, but it didn't stop me from screaming. Zinan calmly nose-dived completely vertically as Cody and I scrambled and yelled as we fell. His skin stretched and turned to a muddy colour, and he transformed back into a cat.
"ZINZAN, WHA-" I was cut off as I crashed into the calm water.
"You were saying?" Zinzan asked, his head bobbing under and out of the surface.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" I shouted.
"Well, you did say you wanted to get to her,"
"And how exactly does falling into an ocean from the air help us achieve that?!" I raged.
Zinzan sighed.
"Look, kid, it's no use being in the air to do anything- we won't find her unless she wants us to find her- so why not let her come to us rather than vice versa? she's set out to kill us anyway, and she can't fight us in the ocean-well, she can, but if I know anything about her I know she'll want to take us down at her full power,"
I stopped and blinked.
"So...we just wait for her to come for us?" I asked.
"Pretty much, yes," Zinzan answered.
"Um, I don't think we'll have to wait..." Cody said pointing at the distance.
A large ship emerged from the mists, cutting through the waters, right towards us.
