Exchange For a Year

Chapter 3

Aph's POV

First class was such a bore, like whoever invented Math is probably the most hated person in the world. I mean there's a few who like it but majority don't and it sucks. I had Katelyn in my class so she was teaching me some English while we were doing our Math work.

"Hi my nama is Aphmau,"

"That's it! You're doing a lot better,"

"Thank you,"

*RING*

"Come on let's go,"

I walk out of Math with Katelyn and we head over to a table where a white-haired boy is seated. Katelyn sits down next to him and I take the chair on the other side of her. He has very bright green eyes, it's a nice colour.

"Travis – Aphmau, Aphmau – Travis,"

"Hi..."

"Hey there. Just so you are aware, I know I'm gorgeous but I'm taken by this lovely lady right here,"

Her face goes beet red as he says this. I'm not entirely sure what he even said but oh well, I guess. Two more guys come over and sit across from us, one blonde the other chocolate brown, both have blue eyes just different shades. They introduce themselves as Garroth and Laurence and call me an assortment of words I don't understand.

"Would you two leave her alone, she's new here and not to assume but probably has no clue what you're saying."

"Oh really,"

"Sé que estás hablando de mí. Parada!"

This pisses me off, first day and these two are talking about me. Talk about judging a girl by her looks, it's so rude and I hate it. But at least I don't know what they're saying. Maybe I should give them the benefit of the doubt and smile.

"Uh name's Aphmau,"

"So you can speak English?"

"uhh......"

"Leave her be Garroth~Kun and Laurence~Kun or Kawaii~Chan will scratch you both!"

The high pitch voice belongs to a pink haired mei'fwa girl who spoke very weird.

"That's Kawaii~Chan, Teony, Nicole and Lucinda,"

Katelyn pointed to each girl as she introduced them.

"I am Aphmau,"

"You're that exchange girl, right. Well I'm in charge of helping you find a place to stay that isn't that shoddy hotel room. As Katelyn said I'm Teony."

Maybe these people are kinda ok, more than I expected anyways, except for those two boys I don't know how I feel about them yet. It was kinda rude they just started talking to me without actually letting me introduce myself first. Oh well isn't going to be perfect.
