Aph's POV

Katelyn helped me get ready for my date, it's a little embarrassing I'm in senior year and have never had a date before. Of course she told me what was happening with her like she said she would and as much as I insist she needs to tell Travis, she just won't.

"You can't hide this forever Katelyn,"

"I just- you know what never mind."

"Let me help Katie, I want to."

"Look it doesn't matter anyways Aaron's here to whisk you away."

I follow her downstairs and she opens the door, passes a very stern warning onto Aaron before I gently nudge her out of the way. He standing on the porch, a small bunch of flowers in hand, and he looks stunning. He offer me the flowers which smell amazing and are super pretty before Katelyn takes them to put in a vase of water.

"Aph you look beautiful,"

"Thanks, you look great yourself."

"Well you ready?"

With a nod he walks me out to his car and opens the door for me like an absolute gentleman. I slip into the chair and take a moment to notice his car smells of cinnamon. On the drive to Olive Garden we make small chatter and crack a whole sleuth of jokes, I'm honestly already loving this.

"Trust me you will love this place,"

"I do trust you."

Pulling up he once again opens the door and leads me inside, a heap of amazing smells hit me as we walk in the restaurant. Its super abundant and lively I've never been to a place like this before. We are seated at the little table in the corner away from most of the noise and it couldn't be better.

He advised me on what was good and what I should steer clear of (which wasn't much) and I ended up getting breadstick and a plate of mushrooms. We chatted the night away, ate the best food I'd ever tasted but all to soon it was over and we were once again back in the car, driving back to Katelyn's house.

"Can I tell you something Aaron?"

"Sure potato,"

"I've always loved the smell- I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT!"

"But I'm stubborn and won't listen."

Pulling up, getting out and for the third time in one night he opened the car door for me and we stood on the sidewalk for a little while, no noises, just us.

"I had a lovely time, thank you Aaron"

"Me too, I'd also like to do it again if you want"

"I would like that."

And with that said and done he kissed me, it felt so right, I've never wanted anyone else like this before. As we kissed, dread crept into my heart. I have to leave him at the end of the year, I don't know if I can anymore. Maybe perfect isn't meant to last forever. A loud screech sounded, startling us both, and within seconds a car's beaming headlights were coming in our direction fast.
