Chapter 39

Aph's POV

Kacey's a good kid, considering he's the youngest he's very protective. We all get out of the car when Eric pulls up and before heading inside he pulls me into a hug, to which Kacey bounces in as well.

"You'll always be welcome in casa de fyre,"

"I'll be sure to come back here a lot. That is if I do end up moving here,"

"That's a big step there kiddo, are you sure?"

"Well, I don't know if I can stay in Spain after being here. A lot has happened."

"True true,"

Eric opens the front door and I immediately get pounced on by a familiar pink haired mei-fwa. She hugs me very tight as the smell of cupcakes and strawberries attacks me. It feels good to go back to being normal and being surrounded by my friends. The hug is followed by all the others who sit at our table, excluding Katelyn for obvious reasons.

"Aww you guys, that was really nice,"

"Its good to see you Aph, we were all very worried."

"Thanks Garroth, I'm fine now, how are you?"

"Still a bit confused in all honesty,"

I hug Garroth again, sure he was a bit annoying when I first showed up but he became really nice and was often having me over at his place, his parents are really nice and I got to properly meet his little brothers. Guess it must be a lot to take in after your 'best friend' went crazy like that and got himself arrested. He was going to be stuck in juvenile detention until he's 18, they can't actually prove he's a murderer so it's just for kidnapping, Gene coped the brunt of the charges.

"The main thing is you're here safe,"

I spin around to see Aaron leaning on the door, I throw my arms around him, jumping on him, and we both fall over onto the porch.

"Woah there potato, you're surprisingly strong."

"Um... oopsie?"

That causes everyone to laugh as well as myself. It feels so much better to finally be home where the people around me care enough to skip school just to be there when I get there. I never want to leave this moment but deep inside I know I have to.

"Come on Aph, up you get,"

"Thanks Aaron."

"EEEFHSBDKGJGHFBSKJFGAS! KAWAII~CHAN'S SHIP!"

She starts having a fangirling fit on the floor, her eyes wide and sparkling looking directly at me and Aaron. She's a crazy shipping cat-woman but she's our crazy shipping cat-woman. Lucinda and Teony drag her to her feet and take her to another room to calm down.

"Alright pizza time,"

Kyle, one of the older two, is an absolute pro at pizzas, I kid you not they are so amazing. Best pizza I've ever tasted. Him and Kaiden are in the kitchen, making a whole bunch of them, Hawaiian, meatlovers, veggie you name it. The chairs inside don't suffice for us all so we gather on blankets in the backyard, I sit in Aaron's lap his heartbeat comforts me, this is where I want to be, I am definitely gonna move here.
