Aaron's POV

I don't know about this. Being around her is so amazing but I'm gonna have to let go at the end of the year and I'm not prepared to do that. We've been a 'couple' for a few weeks now and most people think we're just setting up for broken hearts. I just love being around Aph, she actually gets me, and I feel comfortable. I finally am taking her on a real date which is making me a ton nervous.

"Oh my Irene, my baby bro is going on his first real date!"

"Shut up Mel,"

"Really, come on it took you up till senior year to get a date,"

"Like you can talk."

It took my sister a good while until she gained enough courage to come out to our parents. Yep full-on Lesbian. Back when she was in high school she had dated Lucinda, the same Lucinda I sit with at lunch, the same one who I'm 99 percent sure my sister still is crushing on.

"Face it Lissa," She hates that name "You still got a thing for Lucinda and if I recall you were a senior when you two went out."

"NO, you know it was a messy breakup."

"Its obvious you want her back."

As much as she denies it I reckon its all lies, I'll ask for Aph's opinion next time she comes over. She is right about it being messy. This one dude, a total jerk mind you, decided to kiss my sister without her permission and Lucinda saw it all happen and shit went down like a landslide.

"Just don't fuck things up like I did."

I don't plan to, I tighten my watch on my wrist and check it. I have a little while before she's expecting me so I decide to chill and play some MarioKart with Melissa. I normally win but not tonight, I'm waiting for 6pm to get here, I said I'd pick her up at 6:30pm so that gives me enough time to get to Katelyn's house.

"Aaron?"

"Hey mom, everything okay?"

"Just wondering what time you'll be home."

"Should be around 9:00 ish"

"Have fun sweetheart,"

Its time, I grab the small set of flowers I bought and grab my car keys, I'm almost ready for my open licence then I'll have so much freedom. I hop in the front seat making sure its clean and smells nice. I don't want her thinking I'm some kind of slob. I play music softly, trying to prevent myself of thinking about what could go wrong. What if she gets hit by a car when crossing a road? No she won't. What if there's a shoot-up at Olive Garden? What are the chances.

I look at the house numbers and realize I've gone a bit past. I probably looked like an idiot. Anyways, I u-bolt it and pull up on the curb by the house, hold the flowers in one hand and walk up to the door, pressing the doorbell in an instant.

"Have her back before 9:30 or I'm gonna kick your arse."

"Yes Katelyn."

After my warning from Katelyn, Aph nudges her away, standing in the doorway was an angel. She looks gorgeous.
