                 Felix's POV
"Sir, there's been an issue with one of the shareholders and we need you back at the states to resolve the problem" Jacob said behind the call making my frown deepen.
"What is it?" Enny asked whispering in my ear.
I turned to face her smiling tightly
"I'll tell you later" I whispered before walking out the kitchen.
"Mr. Campbell, apparently wants to withdraw his shares after he found out about your engagement to Ms. Oladipo" Jacob informed making me groan.
I knew that man was a racist cunt but I didn't know he was a petty businessman that lets personal emotions get in the way of doing his job.
He's apparently Pamela's uncle, that vindictive snake probably told him about my fiancée.
"Call Fabian to gas up the jet, I'll be in the states in tomorrow afternoon" I told him hanging up the call and walking back into the kitchen.
I wrapped my arms around my future wife as she prepares breakfast for the family.
Her stepmom usually makes it but she went to a party last night and came back at 4 in the morning.
"Mmm, seems delightful" I mumbled into her neck kissing the quickened pulse.
"Stop it" Enny said giggling but I knew she liked it because of her low moans gave it away.
"Baby, the food is gonna burn if you keep distracting me" I refused to listen holding unto her much longer peppering kisses around her dainty neck my hand wandered around from her breasts, to her hips then that sexy firm ass of hers.
All this is mine. I truly am a blessed man.
I reluctantly moved away from Enny turning her to face me after I turned off the stove so the food wouldn't burn.
"Babe, what is it?" She asked concernedly after she saw the forlorn look on my face.
"You remember my assistant Jacob right?" I asked and she nodded folding her hands to her chest.
"Well, he called just now and enlightened me about the problem with a shareholder who happens to be Pamela's uncle. He wants to withdraw his shares from my company" I told her rubbing my hands over my face.
"That bitch" Enny mumbled in a slightly annoyed tone.
She moved closer to me giving me a bear hug them held my face in her hands.
"Baby, don't be stressed. You lose one you gain another, that's life" Enny said with a nonchalant shrug pecking my lips.
LI understand if you don't want to lea—"
"I'll come with you. I think 3 weeks in my homeland is enough, we can always visit here whenever" Enny said cutting me off with a sincere smile on her bare face.
I tugged her even more closer to my chest kissing her temple.
"God, I Love You!" She giggled puckering her full lips up for me to kiss.
"Please help me finish preparing the food" With that she dropped a bowl filled with vegetables in my hands, pointing at the knife and the cutting board on the kitchen island.
I raised a questioning brow at her and she looked at me with boredom marred on her face.
"Come on, get on with it. Chop chop!" Enny said clapping her hands urging me to do as she asked.
I chuckled placing the bowl in the sink and began washing the vegetables.
1 hour later
The whole family came downstairs groaning and rubbing their heads.
The twins and Mary jay took their individual seats around the dining table after greeting Enny and I.
Their mom went into the kitchen to pour herself "tea" that was stored in a pot.
The other day Enny made me taste a small portion of it.
I almost threw up then and there because of how bitter the taste was.
It was actually medicinal herbs cooked together but they called it tea regardless.
Mrs. Oladipo made her way into the dining hall she sat on the head chair and told us all to close our eyes for morning devotion.
After the short 5 minutes player, Enny placed the filled plate of food in front of stepmom then did the same for everyone else sitting.
"Eniola, I'm glad your cooking skills never disappeared even though your father shipped you off to boarding school.
"I didn't learn from the best" Enny replied kissing her stepmom's cheek.
"Your brothers and little madam over here need to start learning how to cook. No body wants a husband or wife that cannot cook" Mrs. Oladipo said jokingly. I think?
"Auntie, I know how to cook I just don't want to because it's not fun" Mary Jay commented sassily.
"Well, my dear not everything in life is going to be fun" Mrs. Oladipo said flicking her hand on Mary Jay's forehead causing the young girl to wince in pain.
"Oww, that hurt" She said rubbing the aching spot by the side of her head.
"Mummy, don't hit her or else she's going to start crying" Ayo told his mother with a teasing look on his face.
"I'm not a crybaby!" Mary Jay yelled glaring at the twins as they laughed at her.
"I'm full" She got up from her running back upstairs.
"Not cool" I told them shaking my head in disapproval.
Enny looked annoyed by her brothers childishness she too got up from the chair beside to where the twins sat and slapped the back of their heads HARD. I felt the that.
The sound of her hand contacting with their skin resonated around the room.
My mouth was wide agape as I stared at her in shock, I turned to see their mom eating her food completely like she didn't just
Enny picked up Mary Jay's plate and filled it with more food taking it upstairs.
"Mum, why aren't you saying anything to her?" Olu asked pointing to my fiancée's retreating form.
Mrs. Oladipo drank her water and wiped the corner of her mouth then stared at her sons with bored look on their faces.
"You two idiots deserved it" She told them shrugging.
"Felix, come I want to talk to you." I quickly dropped my glass cup back in the table.
I stood up and followed her into the living room.
"Take a seat" She motioned for me to sit on the chair adjacent to hers.
"I know we had a talk about your intentions about marrying Eniola but I need you to promise me nothing bad will have to her" I saw the genuine worry in her beady brown eyes.
If I were in her shoes I would be concerned about giving away my child to someone who you don't know very much.
"I promise you Mrs. Oladipo, that I love your daughter more than life. She's my everything and my forever" I vowed pouring out the truth.
"You have my blessings but if you ever hurt my daughter in any way! I will destroy your life physically, mentally and emotionally. Don't test me" I gulped the spit in my mouth nodding my head vigorously because she seemed to mean every single word.
Time Skip...
We're currently at the airstrip Fabian landed the jet.
Enny and I said our goodbyes to her family except for their mom who had to go to a church evening service.
"Take care of my sister, bruv" Ayo said dapping our shoulders.
"Do anything stupid we're coming for you" Olu the usually quiet twin said in a deathly calm tone.
"Are you sure you don't have a brother or distant cousin? I let out a boisterous laughter hugging Mary Jay.
"Little girl, you better stop searching for a boyfriend and focus on your studies. If your get good grades, I'll get you the car that you always wanted." Enny told her before she could comprehend what was going to happen.
Mary Jay jumped on Enny's body wrapping her legs around my fiancée's waist peppering kisses around her face.
"I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU...!" She chanted as both of them giggled.
"Sis, what about ya?" The twins asked in unison pouting.
"Shut up your mouths. You two already have 3 cars individually, why would I get you another one?" She said making the twins kiss their teeth.
Mary Jay climbed down from her cousin's hip hugging me once more.
"Thank you for taking care of her. I appreciate it" She whispered in my ear making the grin on my face widen.
This has been one of the best two weeks of my life, I hope to have more interesting days, weeks, months, and years with my future wife and our own family.
