Shortly after waiting outside, Ashton turned up and I jumped in his car as he drove to his place.

For the first 30 minutes it was silent. Ocassionally I would look over at Ashton. His window was wound down and his light brown curly hair would dance playfully in the wind as he drove. Every now and then he would take one hand off the steering wheel and push his hair back. Nearly every time he did this, he would catch me staring at him.

"Do I amuse you?" He asked sounding interested.

I giggled. "It's just funny watching your hair blow in the wind. It's almost like it has a mind of it's own." He laughed and agreed with me.

"Yeah it does doesn't it" he said once again brushing his hair off his face.

"I should get a hair cut soon" he added.

"No!" I shouted.

We were currently at a red light, Ashton quickly turned his head and gave me a puzzled look. "Why?" He asked.

"I don't know" I shrugged. "I guess I just like it the way that it is, it's cute."

As the light turned green and we sped off I could see a small smile appearing on Ashton's face.

Seeing Ashton smile made me smile. I wonder if anyone has given him the nickname 'smiley' I thought to myself. Afterall, Ashton smiled Alot.

Minutes later we pulled up into a small but narrow driveway. "My brother and sister have gone out somewhere for the night with a close family friend, so it'll just be you, me and mum." He spoke softly.

The thought of meeting Ashton's mum sent my heart racing.

"Yeah that's fine" I replied. I was still surprised that I had even agreed to coming. This was nerve racking and I hated being in situations where I felt nervous, but Ashton intrigued me and to be kind of honest I was enjoying the time we were spending together getting to know each other.

Ashton led me to the back door and we walked inside to be greeted by his mum. "Hey Ash! And hey uh.. Holly!?" She said waving at us. "Hey mum" Ashton said nodding as he reassured his mum that she got my name right.
I can see where Ashton gets his looks from I said to myself as I followed Ashton down the hallway.

His house wasn't the biggest house I had seen but it definately was still big.

There were 4 rooms, one being his room and the other 3 belonging to his mum and siblings.

Half way down the hallway Ashton came to a stop as he opened a door before flickering on a light and asking me to come in.

As I stood there taking in my surroundings I had gathered that I was standing in Ashton's room. His room had a poster or two of some of the bands he listened to pinned up on his wall and in the far corner of his room I could see a drum kit. Beside the drum kit was his bed and beside that lay a couch.

His room was Huge.

"You can put your stuff anyone you like" he said. I smiled "Okay" I said placing my belongings on the couch.

At first I felt awkward being here with Ashton without the other three boys, that was until Ashton's mum had to go to the supermarket. "Hey Ash!?" I heard his mum shout. "I'm heading up the street to grab something for tea, I'll be back in an hour or so!" she finished. "Yes mum!" Ashton shouted back.

At first I felt a sudden rush of panic. I'm going to be here ALONE with Ashton Irwin.. But then I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Ashton smiling at me. "You okay?" He asked looking a little concerned. Shit he can see I'm nervous. "Yeah I'm fine." But it was almost as if Ashton could read my mind. "Don't be scared being here, you can make yourself at home you know, my mum doesn't mind and she's not such a scary person either" he said giggling.

I nodded. "Yeah I know" I replied. "Sometimes I just get nervous around new people, but I'll be fine" I said slightly smiling. Part of that was true. I did get nervous around new people, but Ashton sent my nerves through the roof. One minute I felt comfortable being around him and the next I felt more nervous than I had ever felt in my life and I was still trying to work out why.

"Come on let's do something fun" said Ashton, I could hear excitment in voice. Fun?

For the rest of the day Ashton and I had been playing with his dog outside. Surprinsingly it was actually fun. Ashton had an old soccer ball that he would kick to me and we would both watch in amusment as his dog would chase after the ball before running off with it. I would stand there laughing as his dog would run around in circles with the soccer ball barely in the dogs grip. "Here boy!" Ashton called out and his dog would run over to Ashton and drop the ball infront of him.

Minutes later Ashton's mum poked her head out the back door. "Hey kids, do you want to come inside and help me with dinner?" She asked. Ashton and I nodded our heads before she dissapeared back inside.

"Here!" Ashton yelled before kicking the ball over to me. Both the dog and I were slow to notice that the ball was practically infront of my feet. Ashton started walking towards me. He was only a few metres away from me when I felt myself fall onto something. "Ow!" I looked beneath me, and to my amazement I was lying on top of Ashton.

Ashton's dog had decided to make a run for the ball and knocked both of us over onto the ground while doing so.

My face was awfully close to his. For a few seconds I just stared at him, first I look deep into his eyes before my eyes trailed off to look at his lips. I was caught deep in thought that I almost didn't hear Ashton.

"Uhh" I heard him mumble, signalling me to get up. As I stood up, I looked up to Ashton in embaressment. "Umm... sorry" I said quickly apologising. He giggled a little but didn't make eye contact, instead he just stared at the ground.

I felt like an idiot that I had just stared at him like a moran as I had lay helplessly ontop of him. 'Great now he probably thinks you're a creep' I mumbled under my breath as we walked into the kitchen to help with dinner.

"Hey Ash can you peel the spuds, and Holly can you watch the stove?" Ash's mum asked. We both nodded and helped out with dinner.

I could feel the awkwardness between Ashton and I as we both remained silent. Great.
