I had been nervously waiting for what seemed like forever for Ashton to get here. I had a really bad feeling about this.
Ashton pulled up and I opened the door for him as he climbed out and made his way towards the front door.
He walked in and sat down on the couch.
"Can I get you anything?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"No Holly, please sit down" he said patting the empty spot next to him on the couch.
I slowly walked over towards him and sat down.
"What did you want to talk about Ashton?"
"Us."
"What about us?" I ask with a worried tone in my voice.
"Is this distance thing really working out for us Holly? Because it really feels like this is not working. It's just too hard."
My heart sank. I felt instantly sick.
"What are you trying to say Ash? That we are over?" Now there was a sound of panic in my voice.
"I'm sorry Holly but it's just not working."
"Ashton! For fuck sake I love you. Are you seriously going to end this? I thought we had something special."
I was now feeling angry and I couldn't control my emotions. Did he really want throw away everything we had?
"Holly. We do have something special but I just can't do this, not now."
"I can't believe you! I fell for you."
"Don't say that" said Ashton soothingly.
"Just get out!" I yelled.
"What?"
"You heard me, so get out!!"
I slammed the door behind Ashton and fell to the floor in a heap. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing as I sobbed uncontrollably on the floor. I was a mess and I couldn't believe it was all over. I loved that boy so much and he had just ended it all.
