35. Serious

It had almost been 2 full weeks and Ashton hadn't bothered to contact me. Had he forgotten on about me?
Cleo had called me a few times but that was expected. It almost seemed unusal that Ashton hadn't called.

If I called him I was scared that I would be annoying him so I just waited for him to contact me. Were we drifting apart? What was happening to us.

I finished another busy shift at the hotel and after parking my car, I made my way inside and prepared dinner.

It must of been 6pm when the door bell rang.
I quickly raced to the door and to my surprise, Michael and Luke were standing at the door. Why were they here? Why didn't they tell me they were coming?

"Can we come in?" Asked Michael. After standing there looking at them like a complete idiot, I stepped aside and waited for them to walk in.

"What brings you here?" I asked.

My first thought was that something bad had happened to Ashton, which would explain the reason why he hadn't contacted me.

"We just wanted to see how you were, we've back for a couple of days now."

oh.

"Where's Ashton?" I asked.

"He's at home, we asked him if he wanted to come but he said no."

Why would he say no? Didn't he want to see me?

"I think he's just tired and wants to rest up for a couple of days" said Luke.

I nodded. "Yeah true."

"What were you doing before we came here?" Asked Michael.

"Cooking dinner."

"Can we help?"

"You guys can't cook!!!"

"Come on Holl, give us a chance."

"Okay fine."

The boys followed me into the kitchen and helped me make dinner.
They stayed for dinner and afterwards we played a bit of fifa before they both left and went home.

I enjoyed their company but I really wish that Ashton came over.

To my surprise, my phone starting ringing. It was Ashton.

"Hello?"

"Hey Holly can I come over? We need to talk..."

We need to talk?

"Yeah sure."
