My plane was boarding and I was nervous as hell. What if I get lost?
This was my first time leaving Australia so I had no idea what to expect. I wasn't good with planes and I wasn't good with airports. Why did I even agree to this...
After finding my seat, I nervously sat down. My legs were shaking like crazy and I was having troubles to get them to stop shaking.
"First time flying?" Asked the middle aged woman next to me. I nodded.
"It's okay, it's not that bad after the first time" she added with a smile.
I forced back a smile and strapped myself in.
We had been in the air for about 6 hours and I felt alot calmer. The lady next to me hadn't be able to keep quiet but she had made me feel at ease.
"Finally!" Yelled the lady next to me as the plane touched down. I was feeling really tired and I knew that jetlag was going to hit me really bad. I can't sleep on planes.
As I walked into the crowded airport I could see a familiar face frantically waving at me. Cleo.
I raced up to her and squeezed her tight. I immediatly felt alot safer being here with Cleo. Atleast she knew her way around. Well of course she would know her way around.... she does live here.
"So how are you feeling?" She asked as we walked out of the airport and towards her car.
I let out a yawn. "Well fairly tired" I replied. "What is the time?" I asked.
Cleo pulled out her phone and glanced down at the screen. "3pm" she answered.
We finally reached her car and jumped in.
The drive took roughly 40 minutes to Cleo's place. She lived in a small apartmant in LA. It was a nice little place in a nice little area.
"Make yourself at home" she said as I sat down on the couch.
It was quite cold outside so it good to be sitting in her warm apartment right infront of the heater.
"You might want to get some sleep soon, we kind of have plans tomorrow" she added as I once again yawned.
I nodded my head. "What plans?" I asked.
She gave me a cheeky look. "You'll just have to wait and see" she said. "The room you'll be staying in is down there and it's the first one to your left" she said pointing in the direction right infront of me.
"Okay well I might aswell get some sleep then if we have plans" I replied as I stood up from the couch and started to walk to the room.
"Goodnight Cleo!" I yelled.
"Goodnight Holly!" She yelled back.
