Every memory was coming back to Tanjiro. Every moment that was just seen as some broken record.

Something that wasn't suppose to be worth remembering. Something that wasn't suppose to happen.

Tanjiro boiled with anger, and you knew that.

Looking down underneath were the discarded clothes. Clothes that you have seen on someone familiar.

Is that...? Wait. Did he—?

"Tanjiro, calm down" Giyuu says.
Your eye shifts to Giyuu and you slightly worry how he had the same exact expression.

"But Giyuu...you're angry too..." you said to yourself.

"...persistence. You're all seriously persistent and it bores me. It sickens from the bottom of my heart. Only to remember dumb notions about avenging your parents, kids, or siblings. You've survived that should be enough for you"

Your blood started to boil.
"So your families got slaughtered. What's the problem here? Think of yourself lucky, and go back to the way you lived life before"

"What are you saying?" Tanjiro asks.

"Being killed by me is the same as facing a great calamity. You don't need to think so hard about it. Rains, winds, eruptions, earthquakes. You can't get revenge on natural disasters. You can't bring dead humans back to life. I'm tired of dealing with you deviant people. Just live your lives and earn your daily wages"

Silence took over the atmosphere. It's as if hearing all of that was unbelievable.

"Muzan...you are a being that should not be allowed to exists" Tanjiro says.
You felt the atmosphere getting much more colder, and you almost felt yourself breathing a bit harder and sweating intensely.

"Why...why did you do it?" You asked.
Muzan turns to look at you in the eye.
"Why did you do this to her? Why did you make her believe in you and have her suffer in the end?"

Muzan looked down at the tattered clothings that used to be on O'ren.

"I didn't need her anymore"
Your expression changed slowly from being calm to being angry as veins started to show on your head.

"What do you mean you didn't need her anymore! That's not an explanation!"
"Why should you care for a demon that took away one of your eyesights? I was expecting that you'd feel some sort of relief" he said.

You clenched your sword.
"Relief...? No, I can't feel that. Just to see someone who was completely dying inside without knowing it because of being so manipulated, and blind to think that...they were being loved. She wanted love, she wanted to be useful...but not like this. She could've been saved if you had never met her" you gritted your teeth in frustration.

Muzan sighs.
"I don't understand how you could feel sorry for her. She was the one who chose to go down this path. She wanted to feel love? She wanted to feel special? Well that's what I gave to her. In return of being a part of my minions, being killed for me was bound to happen anyways. Why should I be blamed for her own faults and decisions?"

Muzan said without a care, while your mouth gapped open slightly.

"You...you truly are a horrible monster..." you said.

Everyone knew back then the moment you were all sucked into the infinity fortress that you couldn't just cut Muzan's neck just like that.

You'd have to drag him in the sun.

While you three wait for everyone, you all need to find a way to attack and keep him still until the sun comes.

Muzan strikes his arms making huge range attacks.
