After spending two whole days in the jungle, my life's goal was complete: to escape that hell of a Forest! (Just joking!)Just thinking back felt horrible and obnoxious! (Except meeting Shinx and Zen.)
The next stop was Nacrene City, the age old city rebuilt time and time again to preserve its legacy. It's known for it's historical sites and the most famous museum in the whole of Losto. Apart from that, the Pokémon Gym is present. And it was calling me... The Normal Badge! (Yeah, really.)
First stop, the PokéCenter. You may be wondering why is Nurse Joy, and only Nurse Joy in every Pokémon Center. It had astonished me too since I was a kid. The thing is that, the family has a lot of look-alikes. The Joy of Azel Town is the sister of the one in Pewter. The one here is a cousin. Something like that.
I went exploring soon after I left Riolu and Shinx to rest. The buildings were NOT a hundred years old. Despite its name, Nacrene City has new gen houses to house people and all the tech you'd expect in a modern day world. The few things which are hundreds old were the Museum and sites which are even oblivious to me.
I tried to find the Gym first but to no avail. The people just laughed hysterically and wished me luck. Some sort of challenge perhaps? Anyway, I was in no mood for challenges. Spending days in the Viridian really took a toll. (Just to be warned, I am going to say this a heck lot of times!)
In an access of misdirection, I entered the Museum. It's what you'd expect. Skeletons of some Pokémon and historical items of importance. The thing which successfully caught my eyes was a skeleton of a dragon. It looked somehow familiar. Out of all the Dragon Pokémon I knew, it could be Charizard, Druddigon, Salamence or even Dragonite. My curiosity shifted when I saw a guy in a black coat. The same one worn by those pesky Pokémon Robbers.
I rushed to the PokéCenter and took Riolu and Shinx back. Then with even more pace, I reached the Museum. It seemed okay from the outside but when I entered, three of the uniforms were visible. A black dresscode with the symbol of Team Black!
From the looks of it, they were upto no good.
" Everyone here is ordered to surrender their Pokémon to us. Any resistance will be met with harsh consequences. Team Black WILL take over the world! "
The people on the other hand were staring at them. Random group of terrorists trying to steal Pokémon for reasons unknown was not much of a threat to them. They carried on with their work.
One of the goons said, " Darn it, put some authority in that girly voice of yours! They haven't even flinched!"
" Like how, can I ask you? "
" Don't ask me! "
Before the two goons began arguing, the third one used his Mightyena to attack the nearest bystander. The poor guy recoiled into one of the statues.
