I landed on the soft bed which was extremely 'soft'. It felt amazing to lie down on a bed after a cold night on the grass. Moments later, the doorbell rang. Opening it, Tiyana greeted me with a smile. I asked, " Wassup? "She continued to smile, " Just wanted to chitty-chat for a while. Totally understandable if you don't wanna. "
I thought and said, " All right, come in. "
Tiyana plopped herself down on one of the couches in my room in the PokeCentre. I seated myself in front of her. I began, " Chitty-chat? "
She nodded, " I wanted to know you more. "
" What inspired that thought? "
" Well, the fact that you lock yourself in your shell and don't interact, it intrigues me. "
" Um, how exactly? "
" You're literally a myth back home. Everyone knows you but not vice-versa. Why? "
I sighed, " To be honest, I prefer solitude. People make me uncomfortable sometimes. Some always compare me to my dad. But I want to be known by my name, not dad's. That's why, I am working this hard. "
She nodded empathetically, " And it clearly works! I know how that feels though... My mom disappeared when I was young. Dad raised me all by himself managing work and me. Honestly, it broke me to leave him for this journey but he'd said that he'll keep checking in on me. When I narrated the Team Black incidents, he turned frenzy. Oh man, I wish I hadn't said that to him... Oh, by the by, dad has sparked an interest in you. "
" Huh? "
" He even asked me to stick around for sometime, to learn; to become stronger; to be a friend; such stuff. Hope you don't mind..."
I smiled, " I brought up that topic first, remember? "
She smiled, one of the most beautiful smiles I had ever received, " You're sweet Tyler. "
" Anyway, you speak as if your dad is an unmatched trainer. "
I grinned, " Trust me, he is. "
We talked for another hour or so. Tiyana's mum was involved in Ancient Pokemon Revival, a famous scientist. The fact that she disappeared nearly brought an end to the whole project. Somehow, tiny works are being done. Team Black might be leading....
At the end, she said, " Our Pokemon should've been healed by now. You will allow me to train tomorrow with you, right?"
I shrugged, " Your wish. "
We went downstairs to collect our Pokemon. After wishing a good night to Nurse Joy, I entered my room. Everyone made themselves comfortable on my bed with barely any space for me. Anyway, they deserve it more than I.
The Team Black guy, Floyd was his name? He still bugged me. That creep was this close to beating me. That Megastone was a whole different level than usual. My Aura Manipulation thingy could've put up a fight though. Despite that, it would be an impossible event...
The bigger picture, Team Black had people like him up its sleeves. Something told me that Kevin and his sub-ordinates were holding back. If the, so called, Senior Commanders had this much power... This thing I brought upon myself was more deadly than I had imagined. Only one way out: Train like never before...
When I opened my eyes, I expected sunlight and Pokemon singing. But what did I get? Absolute darkness. Vast darkness that seemed to stretch for miles and miles. My voice echoed like crazy, " Am I dreaming? "
I looked around. Out of the darkness, Mew was a hair's distance from my face. I freaked out and took several steps back, "What the! Mew? What's going on? "
