28. The Trio Master

The Freeze Bird Articuno, the Lightning Bird Zapdos and the Flame Bird Moltres were visible from afar. The cries of the three became more and more audible as Tiyana and I stood there, speechless.

" No... How? " Tiyana asked.

Floyd was still laughing maliciously, " They are here! They are finally here! Legendary Birds, submit to the great Team Black! "

The birds were clearly visible now. Articuno looked like an elegant Phoenix with ice characteristics. The tail whirled behind her as she flew towards the peak of Mt. Silver.

Zapdos literally looked like electricity. Even his abnormal head and wings were shaped in such a way. Looking at him, you know without a doubt he's Electric. I'm not gonna leave behind the extraordinarly long beak!

Moltres is... part phoenix. Flame covers her wings and scalp. Her tail is actually a  blazing fire which can stretch for quite a bit. Apart from the flames, she looks like a normal bird to me.

The three began revolving around the peak, hissing and crying at each other. Hostility between these three is something else entirely. All they care about is territory. At least, that's what the legends say...

Floyd sounded like a total psychopath, "Come Birds! Come and face your capture!" He pushed another sequence of code and the orb stopped sending the pulses. Instead, new red bolts targetted the three birds. After making contact, the birds paused in mid-air, shaking their heads violently. When they were done, they screeched at each other and... oh boy, they started to kill each other.

Tiyana shrieked, " Tyler, we have to do something! "

Floyd smirked, " I would like to see you stop this Tyler Auraze. No matter what you do, there is no stopping them! "

" Drat! " I mumbled before analyzing the situation. The Legendary Birds are forcefully made to fight each other. If the machine is stopped, then could they revert back?

" Grotle, " I commanded, " Use Vine Whip and keep Floyd company. He should not interfere, okay? "

" Grotle! " he nodded before the vines snapped out from his shell and binded the creep. Surprisingly, he didn't struggle, "Whatever you do, you won't stop them! You can't! "

I snapped at him, " That's what you say! But wait 'n watch! Everyone, destroy that thing! "

Releasing Totodile to aid, the four of them assaulted the machine.

Way up, the dark clouds roared and cackled of electricity, indicating that Zapdos was preparing to attack. A huge Blizzard caused by Articuno was directed at Moltres. The Flame Bird shrouded herself, probably Flame Charge, and cut through the storm. A direct hit in Articuno made her retreat. Zapdos however, amassed the charges and unleashed a Thunder Shock on Moltres. She didn't go down before blasting hot fire at the opponent.

Articuno had took the opportunity to attack Zapdos from behind. A ray of ice, Ice Beam, hit him and he plummeted. Articuno screeched when Moltres tackled her with another Flame Charge. From below, a massive Discharge from Zapdos shocked the duo.

Down here, the machine was seeing its last moments. Charmeleon incinerated the left half while Luxio fried the other with electricity. Totodile did enough damage to the base in order for the machine to stop and Riolu dealt the final blow. The orb however, shattered with a flash. I looked up in hope to see the birds cease fighting but... They were more agressive than before.

I screamed in frustration. Floyd laughed, " Pathetic attempts like this will not affect the battle, boy. Better give up. "

" Shut your big mouth, " I growled. Grotle took it upon himself to silence the guy with a vine across his mouth.
