" Uvan, take care of the girl. I will deal with this boy, " Floyd spat.
Uvan complained, " What? Naw! I don't do girls. "
" That's an order, " the creep snapped.
Tiyana called out, " Hey, scared that you will be beaten by a girl?"
Uvan sighed. Both of them took the other side of the mountain. Floyd closed his eyes, " You are indeed lucky boy... I never imagined that you would show yourself here. Nevermind that I have one Pokemon... That ought to beat you... " He flicked his hands and Gengar came out of nowhere. The air immediately began to cool in Gengar's presence. The shadow Pokemon sniggered at us.
Riolu was definitely not the choice. None of his attacks would reach the Ghost type. I took Luxio's Pokeball and hurled it. He was my best bet for now.
Floyd's eyebrows arched, " This one again? You do remember how I beat this. "
" That was an era ago, " I replied, " Now none of your tricks will work. "
He cleared his throat and Gengar pounced on Luxio. The right fist gathered dark energy for Shadow Punch. Luxio was quick to dodge and countered with a Bite. Then a Spark forced Gengar to retreat. Floyd mumbled, " No jokes... Gengar, Confuse Ray. "
Luxio didn't need me to remind himself. He instantly rolled over and kicked up dust. He charged with a Thunder Fang, Gengar was off-guarded. Gengar recoiled from the attack and dealt a Shadow Ball. A Spark from our side countered the ball with an explosion.
Floyd muttered faintly, " This boy is starting to annoy me... You have become strong since the last time but not enough to beat this!" Another flick of his wrist and the keystone appeared. Gengar did the same and Floyd touched his keystone, " Gengar, heed to my orders, Mega Evolve."
The air turned ice. Unlike Kevin and Altaria, a purple energy from the Gengarite enveloped Gengar. Once the purple matter receeded, the ice shattered. Gengar had Mega Evolved...

The third eye was what scared me most. It was freaky! The oval thing which is said to see through dimensions.
Floyd smirked, " Use Nightshade."
Normally, Nightshade is a black beam with reddish covering which strikes at light speed. With the boost of Mega Evolution, I barely recognized it. Gengar formed a black ball and from it, a giant explosion of darkness came at us. Luxio's right side was struck and I rolled away in time. The part behind was completely annihilated. Senior Commanders are no joke.
Luxio had difficulty in standing. His right side was not looking good. My instant thought was to use Aura Zone on Riolu. Then I thought against it. There's no saying that the powers of Aura Zone could defy Type Advantages.
Then a crazy thought sparked. What if I use Aura Zone on Luxio? The last time I used was about weeks ago. By now, we have grown stronger... Luxio was my first caught Pokemon and... my friend.
