Paging Dr. Shakur... come in Dr. Shakur...
At the age of 25, Tupac Shakur is truly at the top of his field as the youngest doctor to date at the first Black-owned Hospital in America known as Mekka Creek where he's proven to have saved dozens of liv...
She wanted to know this smooth operator even more than before now. To see for herself. Belinda had spoken with him in the past and he was a charming fella but she wasn't fooled. Since she had run across many of those in her years.
The type to charm you right out of a house and home.
Was he really the real deal? she thought as she switched into Mekka Creek Hospital. The receptionist greeted her like always. "Hope you have a good rest of the evening, Ms. Haughton."
"You too." She forced a smile then went to take the elevator up until she spotted Dr. Shakur right down the hallway with some green-eyed crying woman.
Belinda thought it'd be nice to say 'hi' and make her presence here known. "It's your child I haven't been with any other man." Dekiya cried with a hand on her stomach. "I'm pregnant that's why I've been so moody lately please forgive me."
Her mouth dropped.
Tupac jaw tightened as Dekiya's attention drifted to something or someone behind him. It was Belinda. Her nose flared and he was about to feel her wrath. "Pregnant?!" She repeated in a mocking tone. "You listen now my daughter will not be some babysitter or baby mama so anything you all might of had ended here now."
"You can't control her life she's a grown w-" He said.
"You think so!" Belinda roared then took out her phone and dialed Aaliyah.
"Hello." She answered in her soft tone.
"Tell me why I'm down here at Mekka Creek and your little Lothario has knocked up some tramp," Belinda told her. "She's pregnant with his baby and he left her so imagine what he'll do to you."
"Tramp?" Dekiya frowned. "Oh! I ain't no tramp."
"Oops! Did I say tramp I meant whore." She hollered sending security over.
"Aaliyah please listen..." Tupac tried to explain as Belinda hung up just as the security guards arrived to escort her out.
He disappeared into his office and tried to call. "Tell me it isn't true?" Aaliyah whimpered.
"I-I didn't know." He replied as she started to weep on the other end.
Tupac had shed some tears of his own on his way back to his apartment after work. Just when he was for sure he found someone it all went left.
Every time.
"Aaliyah, dear, where are you?" Belinda returned home later that day. She could hear crying from Aaliyah's bedroom when she got upstairs. "Can I come in?!"
"No, go away."
"Are you serious?" She snapped. "If it wasn't for me you'd be a baby mama right now."
"I just want to be left alone right now." Aaliyah cried. "Is that too much to ask for?"
"No, but you shouldn't let any man get you down like this," Belinda said. "I didn't raise you to behave this wa-"
"You wouldn't understand."
Nobody seemed to. The person she thought did prove to be a fraud. She should've known he was no good from the moment she laid eyes on him. No one was that perfect and put together not even her.
