Dekiya had to see for herself the next day she barged into Aaliyah's room as she slept. Her green eyes fixed on the crystals on the nightstand. Reminiscent of the silly ones back at Tupac's apartment which only meant one thing, she thought. Then stormed from the room and slammed the door.

Aaliyah's eyes shot open as she looked around then went back to sleep.

Dekiya marched to the head of the hospital office. "This shouldn't be okay!" She yelled. Confusing the bearded man behind the wooden desk. "Doctors shouldn't be allowed to pursue patients."

"W-what are you talking about?" Suge asked as he lowered the phone.

"Tupac he's been fooling around with the patient in room 305 and sneaking her out I know he has." She said. "And that within itself should be against some type of company rules."

"Do you have proof to back up these claims?" Suge questioned.

"Proof?" Dekiya roared. "Anyone with two eyes could see. He's only doing this to get back at me. Just go look for yourself."

Suge laughed that small action angered her even more. "If there's no proof then there's nothing I can do to-"

"Here!" She said. "I'll show you." They went down the hall to the security room and she demanded that the security guard hand over the tapes from last night.

He refused.

"We remove footage each night to make more space for newer videos." He lied as Suge eyes widened at this. Only to lower in relief when he said. "It sounds crazy but it saves money and room in the storage."

The thought of money being saved made Suge grin.

"You're lying for them!" Dekiya swore as Suge pulled her away. "I know what he's doing, I'm not making this up. You can ask anyone else around here and they'll tell you what's going on. And it honestly shouldn't be between a doctor and patient."

"They're both consenting adults, no?"

"But he's sneaking her out!"

"Again! Where's your proof of this?" Suge had asked.

Dekiya sighed then went over to the security guard.

"Watch! I'm gonna make you regret ever lying."

"Is that a threat Ms. Moss?" He wanted to know.

"Its a promise."

As she stomped off a Plan B came to her. It was cruel in every sense of the word. But she knew this battle couldn't be won any other way. If he thought he would humiliate her on the job then he had another thing coming.

They now wanted Aaliyah gone, so they purposely made her life there hell. Hoping she'd get tired and transfer hospitals after weeks of neglect.

Still in the process of healing, she was incapable of doing things for herself.

She'd ring them for help, call, and even roll down to the receptionist's desk every now and then to complain. But all she got back were excuses.

"Are you sure that you dialed the right number?"

"Maybe it's the medication that has you behaving this way."

When she reached her breaking point, she decided to call the one person she promised she wouldn't. Her mother Belinda. They hadn't spoken in months but if anyone knew how to handle this it'd be her. With her sharp tongue and dogmatic tendencies.

Aaliyah went over to the phone and started dialing until she noticed the cord was cut.

She rolled her wheelchair back in order to get a better view. Her mouth lowered as she examined it further then went to the door calling for help.

"Will you give it a rest already?!" A patient in the room across the hall answered. "Some of us are still trying to sleep."

"Somebody please!" Aaliyah cried. "I'm miserable here."

Tupac stepped from the elevator and went to check-in at the receptionist's desk. "Hello, Dr. Shakur." The receptionist gave a fake smile.

"Hi to you too, Pam."

"How are you?"

"I'm well and you..." he looked over some files.

"I'm g-"

"You hear that?" He looked around.

"Nope!" She grinned. "Maybe it's just a radi-"

Tupac backed up then followed the sound down the hallways. Pam hit her hand against the desk. She wasn't expecting him to make a visit on this floor. Nobody notified her that he would which put a dent in their plan.

He raced to Aaliyah's room.

"Please, I'm hungry and I haven't showered in days." She said. "I've been trying to reach someone and they've been ignoring me."

Tupac lifted her from the floor and put her onto the bed.

It had gotten so bad she moved from her wheelchair and tried crawling to the next room for help.

"I got you." He kept saying. "You're going to be alright."

"I'm all dirty." Dust from the floor had stained her gown and hands.

"That's ight you'll get clean in a minute. Let me ju-" He tried calling for help.

"T-the phone they cut it."

He looked down at the cord with a shocked expression. And although he didn't say he sort of had an idea of who was behind this. Never did he think it'd come to this.

"C'mon." Tupac picked her up and took her into the bathroom. Her body flinched under the shower water. He tried being careful not to soak her casts or his uniform but it was no use. The water had gone through his white button-up and her gown.

If this was any other predicament he probably would've took the time to admire her figure. But it felt wrong under these circumstances she wasn't herself at the moment.
